You sure capture the essence of spending the summer holidays in Scandinavia..... but 40 eur in dock fees without shore power,,,, that is definitely enough to keep me away. I do love my anchor when ever I see prices like that.
I checked out the specs of your sailboat it sure is an excellent boat compromise. Did you know that you bought such a well thought out boat when you bought it or did you just find a boat that you liked and got lucky.
I understood from your video about the boat that you did think of passage making?
Well done Jeanette, thanks for shearing. Best regards from Jarle
It's not equally expensive evereywhere in Sweden but there is a lot of norweigian boats here so price level rises. And if most night spent at anchour it is ok! About the boat, I looked at 15 boats before I bought her so it was not a lucky shot, I also looked a boat models and makes online over a year before. But I missed some things so I ended up with a lot more work than expected, guess that will often be the case... Next time I probable would pay a little more to get a boat where someone already done more of the work. Time matter more than cost sometimes...
@@sailingtilda i know what you mean. My first sailboat was (turned out to be) a dumb investment. I was looking for a project boat but i got a bit more project than i bargained for. When i looked at cost , work amount, and usable numbers of years left of my life. (Well when your half way to 90 i guess it's wise to look at time as a priceless commodity, ofcourse I firmly believe that I'm going to rock on, till way past 150 ,, however I've known to be wrong from time to time 🙈) well i figured buying a ready boat was the best option( but I really enjoy boat work so I haven't been able to let the project boat go... maybe I'll keep it for winter hobby reasons if I should get bored, besides when one have started a boat rebuild project on RUclips one should finish it somehow) best regards from Jarle
