- Bringing back a favorite. I combined hand movements with face touching and doing some facial "adjustments" as well (moving dials, pressing buttons, cutting strings!). I hope you enjoy and that you get a good night's rest. :)

Everything you explain about the way you experience ASMR, from the running your hands up your arms&from what you’ve said about attention-induced ASMR, is EXACTLY how I’ve traditionally experienced ASMR. So cool bc I always thought I was an anomaly even amongst the ASMR community
I needed this video so much! Earlier today I was hit by a car, and right now my entire body hurts. Luckily I came out of the accident without any severe damage, but my arms and legs are full of bruises and abrasions. This video is helping me relax and I'm very grateful for it!

I see a lot of viewers in ASMR videos that "lost their tingles"... and honestly it happened to me too... BUT, I quit watching ASMR videos for about half a month or so, and I started to get my tingles back! and now I get them ALL THE TIME! so try that, see if it helps

It’s interesting what can work for you one week and then the next does nothing. I thought the visual side made no sense when I first started watching ASMR, and this week it actually helped. 🤗
The dials in the face thing was surprisingly triggering! I loved it (when she said it i thought it was gonna be weird but no. So good)

I’m still watching this vid 3-4 times a week.
These dark videos are really great for watching at night and not causing eye strain
Knobs, buttons, and sliders were fantastic. Tons of tingles.
Plot twist: this isn't a self-insert video, but the "you" Gibi is addressing is Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot.
I've never gotten any tingles from any asmr videos and I don't watch them that often, so I haven't become desensitized lol...I do find the videos relaxing and calming, but I just have never ever gotten tingles from a video, I don't know why.
The only times I ever get tingles is if I see something asmr-ish in person, then it works...but never through the videos. Anybody have any ideas why?

It might just be that your auiditory responce is lower than say someone who exsperiences tingels. And the in person part triggers your brain rather than the screen because it is real time. Try useing noise canceling headphones.
