I used to have two of them on my veranda in a house I used to live. I don't remember the housing and vents to be this small on them though. They were installed in 2001.

Same thing happened to this fan currently and its no way to get replacement brackets in India, so, what i have did, i just replaced the whole blade set with normal metal sheet type adjustable blades which we use for our regular fans and reduced motor part little down to avoid blades hitting the decorative motor cover.

I've got it for Rupees.1500 ($18.25 USD) some 2 years ago, the actual value of capacitor is 2.0 MFD and I replaced it with 2.5 for better acceleration, it has 14 pole motor.
