A poll was taken in the late '90s among Cowboy fans between Aikman and Cunningham being named the starter and Cunningham won with ease with a percentage of 70% over Aikman because of his ability to improvise.
They're not highlights but I've watched a few 98 Vikings games on here as well. (I grew up in Philly in the 80s and 90s but only got into football about 10 years ago but I always knew who Randall was.)
Good to know that if anyone ever doubts you when you tell them Cunningham played for the Cowboys or Dennis Miller worked MNF, you can just shut them up with this video.
jc dova It really shows your how stupid average people are. Dennis Miller‘s first game that he did was in 2000 at the Hall of Fame game at Canton Ohio. When the other guys introduced him as their new commentator he said something like “well here we are at the Tigris and Euphrates of football , what a great tradition the Hall of Fame game is.” The reaction to everybody on the Internet in chat rooms or message boards was overwhelmingly that the idiots did not even understand what the Tigris and Euphrates are.
If Randall Cunningham really still had it he would not have fallen off the face of the Earth one year earlier for the 1999 Vikings. To start the 1999 season Cunningham showed that he simply could not read defenses and make quick decision-making without being tutored by Bill Billick who had left to accept head coaching the Ravens. The entire Minnesota Vikings season was tanking for 1999 until they got him out of there and put in Jeff George. Do a search for ...Randall Cunningham from All Pro to clipboard.
Also add to the fact '99 Vikings new offensive coordinator Ray Sherman was also a bust as well, had a terrible habit of forcing the Viking QBs to audible out of called plays because defenses had clued in on Shermans formations. Finally got to the point where Sherman was busted down to receivers coach, and Dennis Green had to take over the play calling for the rest of the regular season. Sherman was out after one season.
@@keithjohnson6051 Jeff George was definitely a head case. But find 1999 articles where Randy Moss and Chris Carter talk about the difference as a passer. even the search that I recommended on my first post is to an article where they'd also talked about that.Jeff George had an arm at least equal in strength and had a hair-trigger Marino like release. His accuracy was pinpoint way Superior to Cunningham. for 1998 Randy Moss found himself having to win a vertical jump competition pass after pass. Although that did make for a very cool and awesome to watch Randy Moss highlights.
Randall Cunningham should be in the NFL HOF!
Buddy wouldn't like Randall with the cowboys
👏👏👏 along with Boomer, Ocho, McNabb, McNair etc.
Impressive regardless of age! 🔥
Only real cowboys fans remember randell with the cowboys

This is an awesome play! I’d love to see some more of Randall’s post Eagle career highlights.

I love all your videos temp 👍
Troy Aikman not doing that lol
Troy would've been wrapped up and dropped by the first defender in the pocket. And then praised for knowing how to take a hit. Lol
Dennis Leary was pretty funny. Too bad his humor went over the average football fans’ head.
jc dova Miller.

I thought Denis Miller's nfl career was VERY poor.
Hate seeing him in that uniform. Cunningham is an Eagle and always will be. Dallas sucks.
👏👏👏 didn't even remember him in those boring old looking uniforms he bumped his head switching like that
Don’t forget about vikqueens. They suck too.
Just doesn't look right in a Cowboys uniform

If you fell of the face of the earth, I guarantee to you no one would care
Jeff george😂😂🤣 let's not talk about how big of a bust he was

@@deanladue3151 so Dennis Greene himself could not babysit Cunningham the way Bill billick and for that matter 1998 backup Brad Johnson had.
