@@izzad777 yes i think dji will release a new pro controller for the avata and fpv drone soon. They want people to spend their money on that product instead. If the controller is included in the combo package people aint going to spend a lot of money for a new controller. Dji is smart.
only issue i have with this drone only comes with the motion controller dpi should give you the option to choose a different controller in a different bundle package otherwise great video and great drone
What DJI needs to sell is a new controller that works for FPV AND its regular drones like the Mini 3 and Magic 3. Being able to use the goggles with those drones would be AMAZING!

It wouldnt surprise me if DJI is going to release a new controller for the fly drone and Avata soon. Thats maybe the reason that they didnt include the controller to a package.

I have the old fpv its so huge its hard to take with you everywhere. Its also so FN fast its scary when flying it, I have flown mine a ton and it is still scary taking it out. Its like riding a motorcycle vs a normal drone is more like driving a car.
By the time I add in the Fly More kit, the manual controller and Refresh, I'm at around $2000. That's too much money for a single toy that only gets 10 minutes on a battery. I'll wait for a future upgrade with better battery life, like how the Mini 3 Pro has that new long-life battery. My M3P will have to do for now... though I do wish I could use the goggles with it.
Hi Lyn! So it looks like the controllers do not like the USB-C to USB-C connection (the cord included in the kit). Use a USB-A to USB-C cable and all your problems will be solved! Fly on!
Can you check but I don’t think the downward sensors are giving you your distance from the ground while flying. I think it’s the distance above (or below) your home point. I saw another video and the drone was below the pilot and it was negative numbers. This is also how the Mavic drones work.
The Height on the left is the distance from take level to however high you are. The Height can display a negative number if the drone is below the take off altitude. The Arrow down icon is downward sensor. After watching multiple google recordings, you can see the downward sensor height change as I fly over objects, but the drone is flying at the same altitude.

Definitely feels sharper possibly because of the new eye piece. But I do feel the reception is better with less pixelation when the signal gets weaker.
Does this drone take pictures downwards at 90°, and its pictures carry information of geographic coordinates like latitude and longitude and also height like the mini 2?
Can the DJI Avata be flown right outta the box? I do not have a cell phone to scan codes. Does it have to have updates? I do have a Yuneec Typhoon Q500 which is fun but I do want to try FPV.
actually motion controller should have sold separately and this combo doesn't makes sense for buying fpv since rc must be bought additionally. Bad idea DJI
hi Aldryn...does the props use screws or just plug-in (as in bigger mavics) and how about that memory card slot...it looks to be in a tight space wt the prop...
FYI for the audience... I've been testing it and outside with a wind condition from 10 - 15 mph the camera captures very unstable footage even using the RockSteady feature. The footage even on Normal looks wider than the footage coming from the DJI Action 2 and DJI FPV (building structures looks weird). I wear glasses and is very annoying trying to adjust the view from the new Googles, I rather use the old Goggles v2. I'm returning the Pro-View combo and buying the Avata without RC (already own the Googles v2, Montion controller and the regular RC). I'll use the DJI Action 2 camera mounted on the Avata, colors and footage are very stable and better looking on my opinion.
hi there . thanks so much for your video there all good . just wondering is there any work around pairing the fpv controller to the avata , im using the iphone 13 and dji fly app. ive done the update i think v01.01.0000 and the googles is pairing with the drone . i following the app process and when it gets to pairing the controller part it doesn't connect. a blue line comes up i click on the line . it then asks to hold down the power button for 4 seconds on the controller and the same on the drone but it donest pair... do you know of a work around please thank you
Download DJI Assistant 2 on your computer and plug in your controller to your computer and run the firmware update from there. (It is not a bad idea to then connect the drone and goggles to assistant to ensure all devices are on the same firmware. This should solve your problem. (You may need a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge your controller)
But your dji products from Best Buy. You pay the same and their insurance has allowed me to walk in with left overs and leave with a new drone. So far I’m on my second mini 2 and second fpv. It takes minutes. 300$ to cover both. Do it! Eff dji care.
They aren't selling it together with the Remote because they want inexperienced users to crash them without the care Refresh. Or probably because they're already holding the remote controller 2 stock for Avata second edition with batteries for twice the flight time. We all know how dji kills previous drones generations like they did with the Mavic mini

Definitely not worth the money, compared to the FPV. You're paying more money for just the blade guards and size. Very noisy!!! Lacks penetrations and distance. DJI went backwards from the FPV. Don't be fooled!!!!!!!

That's just a dji 03 air unit. That's the only way they could fit it in there, and keep the avata a smaller size.

The probs on the Avata are held in by 3 screws each (1.5mm key)
