I rode this just a few days ago at IoA and I have to say, it's easily the best water ride I have ever been on, the theming to Dudley Do-Right is fantastic and has several great drop elements to it.
this one was the scariest of all the rides for me, i hate the slow going up, the little stop before the drops... the darkness i mean was fun but screamed my heart out LOL almost peed myself xD
You guys must go early in the year every year. From January to March usually at some point all of the water rides: popeye, ripsaw, and jp close for refurb.
Very underrated ride. Fun family ride also, kids can do it! If you’re planning on going to Island of Adventure. Please go on this ride. One of my favorites.
It's a bit brutal in places and I screamed myself hoarse but glad I did it and 2 days before I'd not been on a coaster for decades and I only had a couple of practice runs on calmer ones 2 days before I did this one 😱🤣🦖
I went last year for the first time in March. I love water rides so I was excited to get on this. Boy was I wrong. The anxiety of not knowing how long this ride would be or where the final drop was was killing me. The 2:32 almost made me pass out haha I wasnt expecting the pitch blackness and the drop!! But that final drop is worse than what it looks!! Plus your socks and shoes get SOAKED. I would love to ride this in Summer though...now that I know they layout.
i went on this ride yesterday for gradventure, and it was pretty fun. the line sucked because it was so small but the ride itself wasn’t bad. i didn’t like how we were in the dark most of the time though. however, i will say that the biggest drop was amazing!! if you want to go in the ride i recommend going during the day and not at night.
I remember being on this ride 20 years ago and it not having any belts or straps to hold you in. Not sure if it was my childish imagination but I could have swore that if I didn't hold myself to the seat using my hands, I would have been thrown from the ride.
when I was a kid, thunder mountain used to have the same effect and was shockingly dangerous. The fact people have died or been seriously injured wasn't necessarily surprising.
I went to Orlando fl last weekend I was looking forward to getting on this They closed for construction I guess they upgraded it so when I go back they going to opened back up
don't even bother to pun on a poncho.... maybe to protect your shoulders LOL.... the water enters the whole boat! but dosent matter... i mean if it is a hot day.. this one is awesome!
Whereas Popeye for me is in the Top 3 of Water Rides in the world, this ride just never did it for me. It's not the system or layout, all that is great. Just the design is off. Sure, it's themed after a comic, but going through black, empty rooms just feels like budget mode. Even the outdoor sections are lackluster. It's decent fun but given the choice, Popeye ANY day
This is based off a tv show from rocky and bullwinkle, this ride opened in May 1999 with islands and was the cheapest ride in the park actually , this was originally supposed to open later after the grand opening around July 1999 but it opened early, if it would’ve opened when it was supposed to it would’ve been a lot better
The best part of this ride is the pay-per-use water cannons that you can squirt people with. Years ago when it was a quarter a pop I would stand there and spend dollars getting people 😂.
@@wille3573 Supposedly Universal has bought the rights to it and intends to turn this ride into a modern version of splash mountain. Not sure if it’s true, but it would be cool to see this ride repurposed into a different one
I first went on this ride 22 years ago and it's still my favourite ride above all the roller coasters. Its so much fun
I love this series Of cartoons I’m a huge fan of Dudley do right and rocky and bullwinkle

At least the water would've hidden your accident, lol. Can say the same about going on rides like these, hate that light feel in my stomach.
You would hate rip ride rock it
wat? that was the best part, aside from the voicework!
@@Dummymania I mean it was awesome but I almost passed out ahahha... the slow ups kill me!!!
There were steep drops didn't seem like it
So sad this ride wasn’t open when I went. At least Popeye was open. Just gives me an excuse to come back!
It was the opposite for me Popeyes was closed but this was open
Popeyes is closed every time I go and I've never been on it😤

What age is it for like the drop
I remeber riding this and when the big drop came I felt like I screamed my heart out.
I love this ride
Now that splash mountain is gone this is the best water ride in orlando
Uuuuuuntil splash mountain comes back with their Tiana’s bayou thingy
What about river adventure?
@@pin-x3syes! river adventure is literally my fav ride there!
No lies detected 👍
Splash Mountain is moving to replace Dudley Do-Right. Sad Dudley is going but splash is a little better of a ride.
It's a bit brutal in places and I screamed myself hoarse but glad I did it and 2 days before I'd not been on a coaster for decades and I only had a couple of practice runs on calmer ones 2 days before I did this one 😱🤣🦖
For me it’s more scary going up 😅
This is universal’s splash mountain
It's an awesome ride!🤩
It’s long as hell 😂
The scariest log flume I’ve ever been on. You barely had anything to hold on when I went on it
I rode this ride Sunday when I went to Universal, and holy smokes it was so good. I got absolutely soaked and it was worth it
This was a good experience for me when I went in the ride
The drop on this ride is insane 😱

I went on this July. Didn't know what to expect and yeah that drop is definitely bigger than it looks . Little kids went on too 😮

I think your def right because I went as a kid and my mom told my dad to hold on to me😂
when I was a kid, thunder mountain used to have the same effect and was shockingly dangerous. The fact people have died or been seriously injured wasn't necessarily surprising.
I think riding this ride with my brother when I was in middle school was the happiest I ever was.
I love this ride so much
It’s interesting how so many people say it was traumatizing. After dueling dragons, this was a breeze for me.
Why were both of the big park log flume rides based on weird obscure ips
Was on this back in 2007 scared the daylights out of me. Jurrasic Park even used to scare me too
This was closed when I went this Winter.
Would’ve been awesome to see.
Comic Strip Land though, was quite a highlight!
Yea I was trying to read every panel of random comics on some of the walls, and I didn’t even know what the heck it was about-
I believe its due to seasonal. Even in Florida where its often warm in winter they still shut down the water rides in the winter season
Had no idea, thanks.
Gotta visit again then.
All this time, at the beginning of the ride, I thought Snidley was saying “No broccoli ma’am. You know I have a man for that.”
Where's the slip noise on this point? 4:18 (I'm on my way home from Universal and I heard the slip
I LOVE this ride! Went on it two times (was at universals OL for two days) IT WAS SO FUCKIN FUN! Also love the RCMP stuff (Canadian here)
On the final drop, it goes on a roller coaster track before going in the water
I went on the jurassic park ride and was somehow scared by this one? Idk i didnt go on it and next time i go to universal im gonna try it again
I went to Orlando fl last weekend I was looking forward to getting on this
They closed for construction I guess they upgraded it so when I go back they going to opened back up
The bird in the cage what is that in context linking to?! What parody is it based from?!
Why is your boat moving so fast? I don't remember mine going that fast any time I've ridden
Does feel fast from the past ten years I’ve been on this ride lol
i actually got stuck on the ride once for more than thirty minutes 😂
love the asmr
I went on this and it was terrifying going down
When riding this, do you get a little wet, or completely soaked like the Popeye ride?
Completely soaked
Question. How soaked do you get even if you have a poncho on?
don't even bother to pun on a poncho.... maybe to protect your shoulders LOL.... the water enters the whole boat! but dosent matter... i mean if it is a hot day.. this one is awesome!
From my experience, even with a poncho on, you get drenched!
This ride it’s a 50/50 for the first drop drenching you or the last no in between for me at least
What’s more scary this or splash mountain
3:29 Is that the toilet in Shrek?
Hi, what type of camera did you use?
WOW this ride is soking wet since I passed 6th grade i am going to go to islands of adventure and i am going to ride that soking ride
Is the ride fast

Dudleys > Tianas Boring Adventure

Was on this a few days ago the last drop wasn't that bad I got soaked at some stupid ah little drop before the big one
Hey I have a question. How do you record on these universal rides
GoPro
Oh cool
i have never seen a wait for this ride ever
a wait line?
Trust me during the summer the wait easily goes over 90-120 mins
What do we think about this ride turning into Splash Mountain??
What are you talking about? Disney owns the rights to Song of the South

I do kinda like this ride but it is just discount splash mountain.
Guaranteed soaked on this ride
After riding this 3 times I’m still scared of the drop😂
There's a lot of similarity here to Blazing Fury at Dollywood
Btw is Dollywood fun
Such a shame its going away, idk why but at the same i feel like my guts telling me:”OH HELL NAH GET US OFF THIS THING!!!!” Yet i wanna ride it.
This ride isn’t nearly as long as splash mountain…
I am surprised this still exists. Like I love Dudly but in 2024 you'd think they'd have changed the licensing to something a little more modern.
The only thing I did not like was the line was 2 hours long
This ride traumatized me for life 0/10 would never ride again I do not recommend if you value your sanity
Desperately needs rethemed
the theming is so bad
Je ne vois pas l'intérêt de telles vidéos sur une chaîne qui s'appelle Disneyland Paris.
