24-inch Stump Grind Takes Minutes: 65 hp Home Built Machine

We are running the Wisconsin V465 with New River Revolution HD Commercial 26" cutter wheel. I put this machine together in my workshop over the last two months. It is belt driven and uses a manually engaged spring tensioner to activate the cutter wheel.

interesting BEAST of a machine ... I was looking for a mini-skid mounted grinder but they seem pretty rinky dink

I definitely recommend the home build route but only if you're ready to spend a lot of time and money on it. This machine has paid for itself at least 1.5x in one work year.
