Good point about the stupidity of the idea of sending Jews back to Germany after WW2. I'd just like to add that it wasn't just Germany that was unsafe. The same was true of Poland. Poland had been home to many Jews before the war. However, Jews returning to their homes there were often attacked.

    • @bestaqua23
      @bestaqua23 Месяц назад +1

And people forget how unsafe was anything behind the iron curtain . A lot of European born Jews from thet time don't have a European i.d and don't have a way of restoring it . I am in the same place. I am under 40 but I was born in the USSR and am Jewish so I was striped of my i.d and at the moment I would not have any citenship except Israel

    • @semsemeini7905

Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Syria, Pakistan etc also became unsafe. 1 million Jews had to flee.

People really need to listen to Jewish people when they talk about their fears. Their worries come from a long history and a lot of experience, so it's not just overreacting. Jewish communities that are integrated into broader society are very aware of what's happening around them. They often notice signs of danger early on because it affects them first. Even within the Jewish community, there's always a concern about being seen as 'overreacting' or 'complaining.' So, when Jewish people speak up about their concerns, it's important to take them seriously. No one wants to be like the Boy Who Cried Wolf, but sadly, that's the kind of accusation they often face, whether it's coming from the right or the left.

Keep on doing your good work Amir. I had an Iranian Jew once hating me for being a Pakistani origin when I wanted to make friendship with him. I can understand his anger and frustration but we can’t help being born in any cult. We study our own books and we understand this mentality.

    Hi Susanna and Armin,
Thank you for these original discussions and insights.
You bring some fresh air on to the web.
As a French person, I much appreciate your take on the politics. It is not allowed in my country to criticize Islam. Everyone keep their mouth shut by fear of being called a racist.
I wish this kind of show existed in French.
I send you all my support !

One of my friend who is in Israel for studies came to India and brought his boyfriend along to show him the place. They went to few historic Synagogues and found them under heavy police protection. Upon questioning the guards there they got to know that they have been receiving threats ever since the Gaza war started. The small Jewish community in India feels threatened now and have started avoiding going to areas with Muslim presence. My friend was actually scared to reveal his bf's Jewish identity and whenever anyone asked about him he would say that he's from Germany

The word ghetto comes from the area of Venice where the Jews were forced to live. Ghetto is Italian for foundry. It was a former industrial site.

They was younger and enjoyed most the things I did, didn't try took convert me😊 I did find the ringlets, hats and plimsolls a bit strange when you go through area's of London, but I live in small village all me life,I didn't believe they never had a bacon sandwich, I think think that should be a sin 😊

2:42:25 No, there def is a problem with overpopulation on Earth. Idk where you get these ideas of underpopulation from. Many species of animals have gone extinct since homo sapiens started migrating & pooulating the Earth, and many more are going extinct now, bc the human population is encroaching more & more on their territories.
We're a very expansionist species & we like to build a lot, utilize more and more space for our own comfort, and also use up *a lot* of resources. We're accelerating global warming bc the industries are so big & they're so big *bc* the economies are so big - which are built up by the number of people...
It is *very* very good that the birthrates are decreasing bc we need to plateau this *exponential* growth that has happened in the past 100 years. We can't keep increasing at this rate.

Israel is the only country in the world where it is illegal for people in that country to do a DNA test, unless it is court ordered. Hmmm, I wonder why. There are a number of YT videos of people of Ashkenazi Jewish heritage, living outside of Israel who have taken a DNA test. Shockingly, many have found that they have no or very minimal genetic connection to the Middle East. So, they are not of Hebrew (Semitic) descent. Can one say that the vast number of Ashkenazi Jews in Israel do not have ethnic historical claim to Israel lands?!? Are they just White settlers (or Khazars) of the Jewish faith? Is that why it is illegal to do a DNA test there? By the way, Ethiopian Jews do not have genetic connections to the Middle East.

Did you have to take a DNA test when you bought your house? Do you have to take a DNA test to prove that your land title is valid?
Jewish refugees PURCHASING SWAMP LAND from Arabs was such a huge freaking problem that Al-Husseini (name means Arabia, so the invaders) ordered his clan to ASSASSINATE any Arabs (i.e. Egyptians and Syrians) who sold land to Jews or opposed him.
Arabs who preferred peaceful multicultural prosperity with Jewish refugees and migrants, and did not prefer mass murder of infidels, Al-Husseini killed over 100 Arab clan or family leaders.
Nashashibi was one. The United Nations has a published document from other Arabs about how he and others were murdered.
The Arabs who were NOT barbaric psychopaths became thriving citizens of Israel.
The Arabs who WERE barbaric psychopaths and remain barbaric psychopaths self-evacuated from Israel or were forced out during the Arab nations and fedayeen Arab-Israel war to annihilate Jews.
I know you think it's hubris and audacity, and against civil rights, to block barbaric psychopaths, who barely failed to exterminate your population, from pulling up the U-Haul next door and moving right in to make it easier for them to keep trying to kill you.
I'm not an expert, but I've heard that the khazaria theory has been pretty strongly debunked. I think "motivated reasoning" keeps it alive. Some Jews who were expelled by Rome built a life in Mecca, before Muhammad showed up 500 years later and mass murdered all of them for refusing to accept Muhammad as their prophet. Nobody argues they were all natives of Arabia area who adopted Judaism, though some probably were.
I don't know why people would be SO SKEPTICAL about Judeans migrating to Europe like it's inconceivable. Motivated reasoning again.
Nobody is SKEPTICAL about Palestinian Arabs with red or blonde hair and blue eyes, telling them go back to Ireland or Finland.
Nobody is SKEPTICAL about pale skinned Black people, telling them "you ain't got African ancestry".

    • @semsemeini7905

Rubbish. Historical revisionism. Jews were expelled from Israel by the Romans in 70 AD. They settled in France, Germany and Spain with the Romans. It's all documented by the Roman historian Flavius Josephus. Jews lived in Italy already in biblical days including Rome.
