So sad. It was neglected for too long for maintenance. Under new management, the intended purpose of this theme park on opening day would potentially get trampled on in this supposed future with these conceived replacement ideas, this theme park _needs_ dinosaurs. I only rode it once, but I have a positive opinion of this ride.
I wasn't a fan of the ride when I was younger. Maybe because of the fact I was introduced to this when I was 10-11 years old. But later on this did also become a ride I enjoyed a lot because of the excitement. I never truly realized that 2023 would be the last time I would ride it. Good memories last as long as you remember it.
The wording of the announcement insinuated that Dinosaur will remain open for a while when they start demolition and construction of the surrounding area. I'm hoping that's the case so everyone can get one last ride in.
It's a ride with such a great concept, but you can tell Disney has not looked after it at all, half the animatronics are broken or frozen and effects are half removed or broken for capacity over immersion, you can tell they are replacing it with a clone from another park because they'd rather hype up an IP then repair an already good attraction that needs TLC, it feels like they purposefully left it to rot to give a reason to replace it.
This ride deserved better. It shouldn’t be replaced. It should’ve been repaired in every place it wasn’t. And the land should’ve been changed for the better.
Good god, are they just going to let this attraction rot until they replace it? Half the dinosaurs are broken, none of the show doors working and lots of audio missing.... embarrassing
I don’t care what anyone else says. This ride will always be alive in me ❤️🦕 A Tropical Americas theme in this park also sounds cool but creating two attractions based on movies where the main focus and characters aren't animals kind of irrationalizes the animal theme of this park. An Ice Age franchise🦣cross theme in Dinoland would probably have been more logical. Just saying.
They said Fall is when the new land will start construction, but it's apparently going in phrases, so you may be fine! Just go there early and do it a few times if it's open.
4:51 Yikes! Seeing the back of one of the vehicles REALLY breaks the immersion of how bumpy the ride is. They really need to space this better so that we never see the back of another vehicle performing it's bumpy movements like in Indy over in CA
I wonder whether they'll reuse the dinosaur animatronics somehow, it'll be sad if they go to waste (even if some aspects of this attraction are showing their age)
It makes very little sense to put Indiana Jones in Animal Kingdom though, especially since he already has an attraction at Hollywood Studios. It's hard to fathom why they don't just fix up Dinosaur and put Indie's new ride with his other ones.
Were not gonna make it We are gonna miss that Dino, Dinosaur is the reason why Dinoland is still even alive ❤

My favorite ride!
Love this ride, sad that it will be gone soon. RIP 1998-2024.
Not if I can help it
Dinosaur has always been my favorite ride at Animal Kingdom. First Splash Mountain, now this?

Such a good dark ride. The theming is so good, so sad it's going away
Google and sign a petition to save dinoland usa. Act fast and now!!!!
They should keep this ride and have Indiana jones be it’s own ride. Animal kingdom needs more capacity
I saw the notification while I was queuing for this ride lol

The original Countdown to extinction was the bomb, now the ride is to broken and tuned down just like the indy ride in California
7:32 *WE GOT IT, GET HIM OUT NOW!*
Thankfully I rode this in 2018!
Very sad moment gonna be leaving us very soon!
I love this ride! I always laugh!!!!! 😂😂
I’m disappointed we will now have no Dino’s in wdw but hopefully new test track has at least one (in reference to world of motion)
Any word when its supposed to close? Going in September hope to ride it one last time.

6:02 and 6:20
Computer: Carnotaurus
Uh, you mean dead Carnotaurus
Computer: Sauropod
Again, you mean dead Sauropod
It’s sad that they are just left there to decompose, and that Disney doesn’t even care.. I’m ashamed of them for not renovating this ride..
Both that ride and Minecraft were inspired by Indiana Jones
4:54 I've never seen the beginning with the doors open before
Disney try not to destroy good rides for 5 seconds challenge:

rip i plan to go before it close😥
When is Dinosaur closing?
It will be closing by this Fall so they can begin working on phases
It's sad to see this ride in shambles. Hopefully, they can turn the animatronics up to full motion and give us all one last thrill.
I wonder whether they'll reuse the dinosaur animatronics somehow, it'll be sad if they go to waste (even if some aspects of this attraction are showing their age)
Who knew that fall would be the final fall into extinction…
I’m glad that this ride is getting replaced, I’m a fan of Indiana Jones franchises!

Happy with the news. This land is so outdated it’s ridiculous at this point.
I’m glad they are replacing it with Indi, it will bring a lot more people into that park.
Big mistake. No it will NOT!!!!!
No wtf
