Carl Weathers just passed away at age 76 in his sleep. Carl was a huge part of why the 80's was the best era for music & movies, everything really. Every movie Carl was in was special and memorable. You are missed Carl...........R.I.P.

Rocky 3 came out and the local drive-in cinema (yeah, remember them!!!!) had a Rocky, Rocky2, Rocky 3 fest on......we loaded up on esky's/chillers full of beer and WOW, what a great night we had..... I met my very own Adrienne that night....although we forever parted ways the next morning.....grand memories :)

Mr T lit up the screen and stole every scene in 3. And Rocky was also made out to be super human in 4, compared to how he had become vulnerable in Rocky 3. For me the franchise is 1 to 3, nothing else.
Rocky - My home town Red Wing, MN (Red Wing Shoes) had this as their Basketball Theme Song when they entered Arena. Small Farm Town. We beat toughest Basketball Team from Downtown Minneapols, MN. It went into OT. Whole Red Wing town was cheering! Dick Beech was Coach. R.I.P. Jonny Weiss 🎶

Those Rocky movies were really great b/c they had great script writers, great plots back then, and a excellent cast of actors! Good movies in 2020 ~ 2024 are a real rarity as most movies rely way too heavily on CGI for their special effects!
EVERY Rocky movie (and Rambo) was brilliant b/c SS is a brilliant writer, producer, and actor. The messages and inspiration are unparalleled to this day.
