Mike, Thanks for putting out this quality content free of charge as a resource to your subscribers. Greatly appreciated sir. Listening to guys like you and Tommy keeps me motivated to PUSH!
The advice and discussion on this podcast from minutes 26 through 36 are absolute gold! 🏆The rest of it's really good but that segment in particular is extremely valuable advice if you're wanting to grow big.💪
Thank you for the perspective, and the motivation Mike. It really does mean a lot to have you and Tommy telling us that this is all possible. Having us see ourselves through your eyes, it has completely reshaped my mindset. Showing us how the systems and processes can be built, it has truly helped my business grow. I am forever grateful. 🙏
I’ve been acting out a plan to get a lawn company started for almost 3 months. Getting everything situated, studying, found a partner to fund marketing with business experience, learning about marketing, getting a professional website with good SEO & financing for all the equipment needed to outfit a 1-2 person trailer is ready once we reach the level we need it. What are 2 key points or non negotiable you would incorporate if you started all over from day 1 with the 5 year plan being opening multiple locations? Close ratio? I’ve been at it for 3 weeks with a push mower and Kombi system, 1500 door hangers and 13 total clients but only 9 recurring from that. 1 guy said I wasn’t professional enough bc I didn’t have a trailer and big mower, and he owned 3 accounts and one of my clients just sold their house. I want to grow fast but I want to grow right too.
26:51 Is that advice compatible with your general plan of getting a location to 500-800K (I forget the exact number) with a gm in profit mode and then start another location somewhere else or are the two paths mutually exclusive?
Hey Mike, curious what did you edit out after you thanked him on behalf of the home service industry? Right after 34:44 you can notice after Mike asks the promotion thing.
Hey Miguel, Chris the editor here, good eye on that. It was just a long pause while he was thinking, I tend to edit those out to make sure the video flows well. Thanks for watching the whole way through!
If you know home service business, this is like Batman interview Superman ! Awesome stuff
😂😂😂😂😂

Great interview I greatly enjoyed! Tommy was awesome, genuine, motivational.
We did a shop tour. Very cool. Tommy gave us a copy of his book.
This was amazing insight. Thanks Mike.

He scales his locations past $1.5M
I find $800K-$1.5M as the chasm of profitability since a 2nd and 3rd overhead worker is usually required
Detailed video on this topic coming out this Friday
@@HomeServiceMillionaire I'll be watching it! I was just curious on if/how you could apply his advice about scaling to your tried and true model.
This 🔥

This guy sounds like a slightly deeper voiced Patton Oswalt
Is this guy abusing steroids, or does he just work out a lot?
