Incentive structure is the best way to find good talent. If ppl think they can grow at a business, some will take the initiative and show you ambition you didn't know existed prior to restructuring. I set milestones of achievement to increase pay and offer percentages instead of all base pay, strictly base pay seems to make ppl lazy and/or complacent over time. Just came across your channel not too long ago and subbed, I'm in property management and a few other semi essential businesses, right now in my opinion is one of the easiest times to become successful. Instead of using his own money out right, he should put 50K or more into a CD and take out a secured CD loan to minimize risk. The interest accrued vs the interest charged for a low risk loan almost cancels each other out. If by chance life happens and he defaults, they charge a small penalty and refund the difference of the 50 he's already paid in. I do that for large purchases instead of paying outright. Best case, loan matures in 24 months and you get the 50K back to do it again. Or more if you want

Deep though here. Work full time as a firefighter/paramedic and now part time. Been doing this for about 13 years part time. How’s the best way to get to that next level? I have my own clients and also subcontract to 2 different companies. Would like to expand into brush cutting and/or bobcat work. Not against having somebody mow and keep my equipment going when I’m at the station .

In the last few years everyone has been talking about how wrong Dave Ramsey is but keep in mind he’s totally debt free. Everyone’s house hold is different we have become to focus on crypto and fast money rather then financial literacy to focus on putting people down who don think like Ramsey or other influencers. The goal is to become debt free so when life happens (and it will) the impact won’t feel so bad. So why is Dave Ramsey wrong? His whole company is debt free sounds like financial literacy that’s working

The service department of the tech company worked for , before starting my own business - we charged $145 an hour and we got that number $ cause our competitors were also charging that. I believe real professional companies that are rock star customer service can charge that.

100% close ratio and saying customers wont take higher prices 😂 Man that guy is in a great spot. Higher prices are going to change his reality. My first sales job I always wanted to get customers discounts out of fear that they’d walk but my boss never approved them. When I stopped entertaining a negotiation on prices I started actually selling and making money!
