I didn't know he was living like THAT. Good for him. His shop does some major buys and I'm sure he gets paid well from the History Channel but still, damn.
Most reality stars have other side hustles if they wanna keep pulling more money in. He owns a BBQ joint in Las Vegas, and I'm sure he has other side hustles as well.

my deepest condolences on your father, I JUST found out, my father had the same, and I dedicated my career to now caring for a Parkinson's patient. (just one) My father meant the world to me. I'm 58, single and feel this was my calling for now. I may stop at some point before 60, as it is heartbreaking. I love your show, and I am so happy to know it will be back this coming January 2020. Hang in there. My mother has Parkinson’s diagnosed 10 years ago and is doing very well at 84. My father just passed at 94 but he was healthy died in his sleep. It’s the cycle of life. God bless.
I like the kitchen it's very unique and hip pretty awesome how they painted those inner rings of the cooktop to match the cabinet. My cooktop dials are still the same color of last night's dinner

I wonder what the negotiations were like between the History channel and pawn Stars deal? The best we could do is give you one season, Rick: I'm going to need 20 seasons
I heard that they get at least $50,000 per episode from the History Channel. So think about it all the episodes that's been run over the last 10 years or so. He's not just making money off the pawn shop.
He never did either. Most of the money had always been made with the show and they still do now. Alone with the merchandise.
Not to mention the markup he puts on what people sell him at the shop, then he turns around and sells it and "pockets the diff."

Even without the show Pawn shops pay .10 cents on a dollar and that's if you're lucky.
Rick attempted to sell the Pawn Stars idea for years, until History bit. Then he became successful as the pawn business on its own couldn't give him the kind of swag he swings now!
