I have lived in the Philippines for 10 months straight. I have been to the Philippines at least 7 different times. I always wanted an Asian kid as my child. Me and my Asawa have a 2 year old. He was born in Philippines and half mixed. Fil-Am or Filipino American. I also want Pure Filipino's and Filipina's or Pinay's to feel good about their skin color. I tell my wife that all the time. I love her dark brown skin color. I have an issue also to the contrary. If your Half Blooded and you are not accepted or not able to represent your country, then that is also wrong. Yes mixed kids have the right to represent the country they were born in and have citizenship. My son was born in Philippines but is a Dual Citizen. If he wants to represent USA he should have that option as well. He can represent both countries. I understand why people say and want a pure representative. I agree the stereo types and body type standards are too much as well. I think at the end of the day you should just be proud of the person who represented you and won the victory. They have your blood maybe not 100% pure but they have your blood. I just don't want mix race people to not have a chance to do anything because they are a mixed person. Don't be extreme. Lastly, There is only one Race...The Human Race. If we all came from 2 people. Adam & Eve. As the bible says, then where did the other Races come from? Our pigment came from our environment and the languages of the world were scatter from the Tower of Babble. Anyways I am a World Citizen. The world should also be open for all to travel.
