Thanks for sharing this deck. This is just my opinion but I’d prefer if you showed more unlucky games rather than high-rolls. I've noticed most of your deck showcases are where everything goes well. It’s only during streams where I can actually learn what to do if I get bad dice, or don’t get the correct card. For example, I’d assume in this match the opponent started with only 1-2 cryo dice and basically no other usable dice. Which is why they swapped then went with liben. It’s very satisfying to see everything go perfectly but it’s hard to see if a deck is strong, or if you’re just lucky. Most players can figure out what to do when things go well and you can follow the plan, but what separates a good player from a bad one is whether they can adjust and recover when things don’t exactly match the plan. Only watching the high-rolls makes it hard to improve as a player. Anyways, this is just my two cents.
I think that's a fair point! I do think this series is fine for this, definitely streams and tournament coverage is better for learning.
Oh I’ve been using the 2 cost location-heavy variant of this deck! Definitely a lot of fun to play, though I do unfortunately see Kaveh most likely getting a nerf. Still, I’ll be sure to start giving Marechausse to Narwhal now that I know the interaction :]
I hope they can nerf this version without nerfing the location version. If they cap the damage at 3 it would be great - keeps the location version intact while not letting you do this stuff
I like location based Kaveh, it really fits his lore lmao They just need to nerf his bloom so that it can't chain trigger and wipe you out with 3+ hits a round. Like Nilou's bloom with a limit of 2 hits per round, something like that would be fine

Wow that was the easiest, fastest 5 straight wins I've had in a while... even if my opponent survives the Furina/Kaveh combo, the Narwhal just smashes them and finishes them off 😅 Very nice!
I personally prefer running all two cost cards and running a location deck instead. It's kind of boring that you can't ever really play any of the three cost cards. It's nice to have the option of more dice and certain food cards.

If you see how can this be helped, I am more than open to hear it. I just feel so lost and non-belonging in this. EDIT: Yes I have changed this comment after my emotions calming down a little.
I think the frustration is valid - and being easy to play means a lot of people will be drawn to it so you will see it way more often than you should. It definitely sets the bar for what a new deck needs to be able to beat to succeed in 4.7

Tbh I run this deck until I was washed by a Mona Kaveh Whale, that I try out and imo it's better than this one. Mona fast swap is better than having Furina n she also does 2 hydro applications w 3 dice. Also no 4 cost dice to always give the whale +3 hp upon discarding
Keep in mind Furina has 4 hydro applications with 3 dice. I think for sure this into the Mona version can be a little weaker - they can actually sit on Mona Round 1 and then load all their damage onto Kaveh. You have to play a little bit different - If you start first you can Furina swap Kaveh then swap back to Furina end phase. If you start second, start on Whale, then go Furina, then go Kaveh.

@@blepthecat hmm true, i think i just got real frustrated because of the otks xd also in my experience i mostly see people use kaveh and mona together, so it def guarantees one bloom because of her quickswap!!
So I had created another bloom core already from the first Burst Scan that turn (the icon is briefly visible earlier), but normally you can't trigger two Burst Scans in a row. When I tuned cards for Narwhal, the passive took away my 'action' and then it became 'before I choose my action' again, which saw I had a burst scan + core available so it triggered. Kind of a weird edge case
@@Norina0812 hmm you may have to more specific as swirl can come in lots of forms. Though because Kaveh decks have a very straightforward rotation, you don't have an option to play around reactions as much. You can use Mona over furina if you want more flexibilty with quickswaps, the deck won't change too much!
@@Norina0812 hm for Lyney you can try something like start on whale, then after the pyro hit, then go to Furina to skill then to kaveh - this dodges swirls pretty well and prevents too much dmg on Kaveh. Raiden they can't swirl r1 and you threaten an FTK on her so you should have the advantage in that matchup
@blepthecat Also, sorry to bother. But. There's that Raiden Neuvi Bennett deck I fought against as well, and the overload is just fucked up atp. 😭 Narwhal didn't last that long before they were gone from the surface of earth, and same for the rest cuz of that stupid Raiden summon.
He has the core before and i think it work kinda like crab shield or smt, u need to do some action before it actually trigger the core, which he already have one, to explode
Yeah this one was confusing. So if at the start of your action you trigger a Burst Scan, that then procs ANOTHER bloom core with a Burst Scan ready, normally you don't fire the next one right away since it already checked before you select an action. However, I think because tuning for Narwhal triggered it's passive, that interrupted me "choosing my action" and it went back to "before I choose an action" which triggered the other bloom. It's super weird for sure, really edge case. I'm not sure if a character other than Narwhal or Apep could do it
Haha people will figure out how to beat it soon enough, it has a lot of glaring weaknesses - but easy to play and lots of fun. Glad you're having success!!
@@VroomBee Hm I think you can make it work yeah. You'll just want to make sure your last character can solo pretty well since you have two characters that don't do too much
@@blepthecat I was kinda thinking in my head Furina using her burst and her and Dehya attempting to get as many stacks as possible (would probably need both talent cards) and then using Dehya burst as the main damage.
@@VroomBee Haha that's going to be a little too much setup. Anytime you think about combining bursts like that you have to ask if the setup is worth it. Dehya burst in general is unfortunately not very good being a prepare skill and expensive.

The Kaveh no one asked for that we actually needed.
He's been away collecting all these weapons no wonder
I asked for Kaveh TCG actually, as did other people lol
8:31 How did burst scan trigger???
So I had created another bloom core already from the first Burst Scan that turn (the icon is briefly visible earlier), but normally you can't trigger two Burst Scans in a row.
When I tuned cards for Narwhal, the passive took away my 'action' and then it became 'before I choose my action' again, which saw I had a burst scan + core available so it triggered.
Kind of a weird edge case
Soooo wheres the deck sharing link?
You can find it in the description! Scroll down to the section where the decklist is listed
Tip on how to deal with swirl decks ?
@@Norina0812 hmm you may have to more specific as swirl can come in lots of forms. Though because Kaveh decks have a very straightforward rotation, you don't have an option to play around reactions as much.
You can use Mona over furina if you want more flexibilty with quickswaps, the deck won't change too much!
@@blepthecat Let's say a Lyney Lynette + another anemo, or a Xiao Faruzan Raiden ?
Cuz holy are they a pain.
@@Norina0812 you should be able to threaten raiden before burst which makes the deck a lot weaker, but if you let them get going not much you can do
at 8:27 how did the bloom trigger? I've watched it many times and still don't get it?
I'm not sure if a character other than Narwhal or Apep could do it
@@blepthecat That is very interesting, this will come in handy using this deck. Thank you for clear explanation Prof. aCATdemy
Playable after 4.8 Kaveh nerf?
I wouldn't recommend it no. It might be ok against NPCs but otherwise it's pretty dead
Kaveh is so op 🧐
Very strong for sure! I think people have suggested capping his blooms at 3 DMG which I honestly think is very fair
I’ve ran into this deck a few times and it can be rather annoying, although I don’t think my success rate is too bad against it
Yep it has it's weaknesses, but it really wins hard against unsuspecting opponents
Still waiting for the in depth explanations of all the new character cards
It's out now!
@@blepthecat took you long enough lol
lol. Kavehs Revenge!!!
This is why he's been missing - just been training this whole time
The card in the deck is more like the ammo for kaveh ,very interesting design.
Yeah he's packing all those weapons in that briefcase
So far i have 100% win rate with this deck and only lost the mirror match. I think this is getting nerfed soon
Haha people will figure out how to beat it soon enough, it has a lot of glaring weaknesses - but easy to play and lots of fun. Glad you're having success!!
I feel like they gonna nerf kaveh 🥹
It could be worse if they try to do the hotfix like before
Can probably cap his damage at 3, but otherwise it's honestly not so bad once you figure out how to play around it
If im being so honest I lobby dodge this deck
Haha it does get old fast
@@blepthecat ya everyone is running it right now 😭
If I can ask an Unrelated TCG question…
Is there anyway Furina can work with Dehya?
This deck is so boring (play whatever, no brain needed), but it gets the job done if you want massive dps.
It is only weak against non hydro imbued enemies, like the cryo cube, but you could still win nonetheless.
For sure, don't recommend using this against infused monsters haha. Otherwise it (used to be) a great NPC beater
Nah, that deck surely boring, u did't even playing card anymore, and tcg became boring
It's kind of one-note and not one I'd recommend playing repeatedly. Just something to try, have some fun, and then play something else
