Caddy has admitted that he isn’t proud of his past videos and I got a couple of past videos that I’m not too proud of so I redid them hell with the 10th anniversary of the als ice bucket challenge I might redo the video in celebration (don’t know if I can challenge anyone but als awareness is becoming a thing as of late so I guess I can say some words of encouragement) Edit: in my ice bucket challenge video I used a cup because I had to hold the camera and dunk my head I’ve since then learned how to use my camera without asking someone to hold it

To be fair, only Caddy’s recent videos are like an hour or so long. His past ones are usually like 30 minutes or less, or a little over. Caddy just tends to change up his style every couple of years. One of his old things was the Slaughter or Salvage, where he shot a game dead if it was bad, ascend it to the heavens if it was good or he would do the Slauvage for games that were ‘meh’, which was ascending it and then shooting it down before it can reach the pearly gates. He doesn’t do that anymore, which I can understand as he didn’t find it tasteful anymore, though I have strong nostalgia for it. So, yeah, if you want Caddicarus videos that IMO have a good length but are still fun. Although, I will admit there is more humor in his hour long videos of today than his shorter ones of the past.
I only watch his recent stuff but his slightly older videos before he changed up his style were pretty good still like his Mega Man series review and his single game reviews like Medievil PS4 or Death Stranding were great too. Theyre not "outdated" as he thinks they are

Was wondering when you'll react to arguably the most insane video game RUclipsr. Finally! I recommend one of my favorites of his: 287 awful game reviews. It's hilarious.
So it seems like you've already gotten some clarification on Caddy details, such as videos that are still within your duration limit, potential methods for recording longer ones, and other such stuff, but I wanted to clarify a bit more and elaborate on what some others have said. So Caddy's video style completely changed with this particular video. Over the years, he got so overworked and stressed with creating videos that would perform terribly despite the decent sub count. RUclips was constantly fighting him and at the Jedi Fallen Order video (the one that came out prior to this PS4 games video), he was legit considering quitting RUclips altogether and questioning what the point of even uploading that video would be. Especially when it's supposed to provide the income needed to support himself, his fiance, and his stepdaughters. This video was made in a last ditch effort to do something with his channel. I find it similar to Scott Cawthon and FNAF. How he was beaten down by constant negative feedback and diminishing returns and was on the cusp of quitting before deciding to try once more with a change in formula. And much like Scott, Caddy's change in video style completely saved his career and he's been keeping that train going ever since. He no longer does single game reviews (with the exception of Crash Bandicoot 4 because Crash is very personal to him) and leans much more heavily into jokes and nonsense than serious reviews, although he does still provide genuine critiques and opinions about things as you could see here. One more important thing to note is that you may have noticed that every video on his channel prior to this one is now labeled as old. Every single title. This is because he really does not like any of his content prior to 2020 anymore. To put it in his words, he feels there's a huge disconnect between him wanting to give actual reviews and opinions and be a credible reviewer while also doing Monty Python shit. And he feels they haven't aged well at all. So that Peppa Pig merch video you watched before and didn't like? Trust me, he doesn't like it either. I truly believe you would enjoy the current phase of his videos, especially given your reaction to this one. Admittedly, the video length does make that a bit hard, but I do think most of the videos in this current phase are at least closely in your wheelhouse. And the ones that aren't, I do agree with others when they say you could probably film them in parts. But I can't say for certain if that would be doable for you because I don't know your schedule or approach to content behind the scenes. Either way, I do hope you can react to more of his stuff in the future, but I do completely understand if it's just not sustainable.

I recommend one of my favorites of his: 287 awful game reviews. It's hilarious.
So it seems like you've already gotten some clarification on Caddy details, such as videos that are still within your duration limit, potential methods for recording longer ones, and other such stuff, but I wanted to clarify a bit more and elaborate on what some others have said.
So Caddy's video style completely changed with this particular video. Over the years, he got so overworked and stressed with creating videos that would perform terribly despite the decent sub count. RUclips was constantly fighting him and at the Jedi Fallen Order video (the one that came out prior to this PS4 games video), he was legit considering quitting RUclips altogether and questioning what the point of even uploading that video would be. Especially when it's supposed to provide the income needed to support himself, his fiance, and his stepdaughters. This video was made in a last ditch effort to do something with his channel. I find it similar to Scott Cawthon and FNAF. How he was beaten down by constant negative feedback and diminishing returns and was on the cusp of quitting before deciding to try once more with a change in formula. And much like Scott, Caddy's change in video style completely saved his career and he's been keeping that train going ever since. He no longer does single game reviews (with the exception of Crash Bandicoot 4 because Crash is very personal to him) and leans much more heavily into jokes and nonsense than serious reviews, although he does still provide genuine critiques and opinions about things as you could see here.
One more important thing to note is that you may have noticed that every video on his channel prior to this one is now labeled as old. Every single title. This is because he really does not like any of his content prior to 2020 anymore. To put it in his words, he feels there's a huge disconnect between him wanting to give actual reviews and opinions and be a credible reviewer while also doing Monty Python shit. And he feels they haven't aged well at all. So that Peppa Pig merch video you watched before and didn't like? Trust me, he doesn't like it either.
I truly believe you would enjoy the current phase of his videos, especially given your reaction to this one. Admittedly, the video length does make that a bit hard, but I do think most of the videos in this current phase are at least closely in your wheelhouse. And the ones that aren't, I do agree with others when they say you could probably film them in parts. But I can't say for certain if that would be doable for you because I don't know your schedule or approach to content behind the scenes. Either way, I do hope you can react to more of his stuff in the future, but I do completely understand if it's just not sustainable.
