Review #1: LMA Manager / LMA Manager 2002 (PS1)

- Both of these games changed the way that I looked at football games back when I had a PS1. So what I decided to do, was make a review on both games in one video! I don't normally do reviews like this, but I thought I wanted to do something different. Hope everyone (whoever actually stumbles across it) enjoys it, and subscribes for more!

Great review, but between the first LMA Manager and LMA 2002 there was LMA 2001, although LMA 2002 was almost exactly the same as 2001, but with updated players, squads and teams.
I had so much joy playin lma 99. Btw i was young maybe i done something wrong, but my players overall was droping like crazy on lma 2002, making my players look like an amatur squad at first game that gets beaten 7 0 or so, i never got to know why did it drop.
God i loved lma manager as a kid, build a stadium, watch the cup draw, and the highlights i hope they bring lma manager back soon!
LMA 2002 for the PSX had that terrible morale bug that forced you to skip the matches :-(
Someone know how raise players morale in LMA for ps1? its so hard.
22 years later and i started playing the first version again. This time as a ROM on my Firestick! Amazing game!

This is a wild game. This came on a pre-loaded thumb drive and I'm trying to play on the PlayStation 1 classic and I'm completely lost......and I'm completely American also that would probably explain it

LMA 1999/2000 was the first game I had on my PS1. I was only 7. LMA 2002 I never played, but loved LMA manager 2003. I can’t tell the difference between 2002 & 2003 other than the start up theme. Ohh take me back to those glorious days 😊
how to stop player contract if dont want him anymore...or there is no optional for it ???
how to increasing the wage budget for the player we want to contract ?? because there is no option for this too...
i have money enough to build a big stadium but when i want to buy another the board not allow it because the budget is limited...it under the money i have...
for example...i have more than 30 milion...and i construct a new stadium and it cost only 25 milion...and the stadium that i plan is good and increase the capacity...but still the board not allow it because the funds is not enough but the fact...i already have the money...
can you help me with this...

Hey, really great review mate, two great games! I'm currently playing LMA manager 2002, managing Brentford, but struggling to succeed. Struggling a bit tactically and my players overall ratings are dropping as well as their morale...Now I've heard a few things you can do to sort this - one you can skip the matches, but I don't really want to do that as I feel watching the matches will give me a better chance to see what's going wrong and how to alleviate any issues. And I've heard squad rotation is vital to success...anyway I was just wondering what your take on all this was. Thanks :)
cracking review..... i remember playing these for days on end, my personal favourite being the 2002 which i thought was epic, going to re-live my childhood now & buy the 2002 again! keep up the good work

Haha Wasn't expecting a little namedrop there Chris :) lol Nice overview for both of the games by the way - I think i've actually owned the pair of them in the past but didn't play them due to the sheer amount of other games I had. I'm sure they can't be expensive so I might grab them in the future for some nostalgic football action!

Which ps3 version have you got that plays LMA?
I remember playing this a lot, until I went to Championship manager, which in truth WAS better. But this was a brilliant console game, when there were no alternative for console. I do remember though if you had the best coaches, all your players would just become incredible no matter how old they were. I had a Manchester United team where my starting 11 ended up with near full skill bars and the subs weren't far behind either!

The things that I loved were some of the off the pitch stuff, Every team had computer generated stadia based off their real counterparts (Madejski Stadium, amazing on 07)
The ability to get new shirt sponsors every few seasons, because when I play FM for 30 seasons, Reading will surely have Waitrose for all those years lol.
Let's hope Codemasters make the right decision very soon.

I love these games there are fantastic. I managed Dundee United as they are the team I supported. I only managed to win the league and Scottish Cup with them. Chelsea v Kilmarnock. That must have been an easy game.
I also remember the cheat codes LMA manager 2002 had. Dream on made your team win every game. i didn't put them on much. i only did it if I was very bored.

Why do player abilities in LMA 2001 always reduce no matter what?
It has always been a riddle for me.
Sergey Dukman there was two versions of the game released, and the first version had a bug where the ratings of players always decreased.
This is a great nostalgic review of games i played to death during my youth - thanks for bringing back the memories :)
These two games are amazing I still play LMA 2003 would love for them to make more of them!
