@mysocalledgnxlife Natalie great clips. I feel Perfect Strangers doesn't get the same love or respect as other long running 80's 90's tv shows. It ran in syndication for maybe 2 or 3 years and that was it! It can only be scene now through streaming. I believe but is not rerun on tv like other shows like Full House, Family Matters and even Step By Step. At least all 8 seasons yes 8 seasons because the last season was only 6 episodes just like the first season LOL are on DVD at least! Happy Christmas Natalie. P.S. also a couple episodes are lost and haven't aired since they were shown on ABC.

Ok what about the Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever? That was damn staple in school every year until about the 6th grade. My mom recorded a ton of Christmas shows/movies on VHS and she'd start watching them around Thanksgiving (thanks for bringing back those memories on this Christmas Eve). The Night They Saved Christmas was definitely a favorite (and even though it was inadvertently cut from the vid - I appreciate that someone else loves that one). Another favorite was one called A Hobo's Christmas from 1987 starring Gerald McRaney. (I also had to laugh at remembering all the lines from that dang Folgers commercial, lol.) Finally.....gosh darn that ALF Christmas special - tears started welling-up as soon as I saw the little girl
Does anyone else remember the Harper Valley PTA Christmas special episode? I think it aired the same night as the Dukes of Hazard Christmas episode! Hardcore late 1970s stuff! Ha ha

I see you and love you for Muppet Family Christmas! Everybody talks about the Chiristmas Carol, but my Christmas Carol is Mickey's Christmas Carol. I absolutely love the big carol-sing at the end of Muppet Family Christmas! I love the big get-together of Sesame Street, Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, and early Muppet Babies! It reminded me of my mom's side of the family which is huge! I loved ET when I was young. I had a picture (before our housefire) of a Christmas in which all of my presents were ET including the Atari game, the Michael Jackson storybook, and the ET bike! I learned to ride on two wheels on that one! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!🥰🥰🎇🎁🥳
Now I HAVE to go back and watch these with my little Granddaughter! When I wad little I remember I was NEVER in a rush to grow up! One thing I miss about these times, not only during Christmas, but Halloween and sometimes Easter is all the holiday themed tv show episodes, specials, and cartoons that would air wish was really special for someone like me who didn't have cable and got to see things I normally didn't.

lol I actually ended up watching all of the Family Matters Christmas episodes on Christmas Eve day. As much as I love that episode the best one has to be where Laura meets her guardian Angel & she wishes that Steve knew how she felt every time he ruined something but instead she becomes Steve. Such great acting by Kellie Williams on her part. Also, the second season Christmas episode where Steve stays with the Winslows & Richie gets his Freddy Teddy (so a Teddy Ruxpin) from Santa is a really good one as well. I used to love all of the early TGIF Christmas episodes.
Now I’m going to have to watch the full Silver Spoons episode to find out why Joey Lawrence stole the gifts😅. FYI it’s available on Tubi and is episode 15 of season 1. Just watched it. Perfect 1980s feel-good Christmas episode❤

I watched the Alf two part Christmas episodes, earlier this month, talk about a gut punch of Christmas episodes. I think I blocked them out from when I was a kid. If anyone wants some good more modern Christmas episodes I recommend the ones from Bob's Burgers, they have some really good ones. The new The Best Christmas pageant ever, movie is excellent. Finally I think one of the best 70's Christmas TV movies is The Gathering, Ed Asner plays a businessman who finds out he is dying so he goes to his ex-wife, and they plan one last big family Christmas party. Naturally some of the family relationships are strained,very worth watching. Merry Christmas everyone.

I’m so sad. I didn’t get thanksgiving dinner because my dad was in the hospital. And now I get zero Christmas food. I’ve eaten nothing but mashed potatoes and ice cream for a week. And that’s not changing anytime soon. Worst timing ever!!!
