It's definitely been a working progress trying to place plants that work best for the light in those certain areas. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it
You can fix broken plants stems. Spray the stem with water, sprinkle with cinnamon and then secure it back up with some kind of stick and keep the area moist. The plant will eventually fuse back together
yeah! i really love the simplicity of it. i've always seen ppl do the typical stick in the dirt tags but those get in the way really fast. thanks for the inspo!😁

That's actually a great idea and I don't know why I didn't think of it. But thank you for the suggestion. I'm going to put a lid on top of it and see if that helps
Thank you Jeff! So many gorgeous plants. I've learned with two orbifolias (one in bathroom, other in living room) that they like to have consistently moist soil. Also, that they are not for newbies; I now avoid calatheas. My greatest success in this family is a Ctenanthe setosa that is thriving in homemade pon.
Mine get filtered tap water; I'm too frugal to get distilled. I have ~5 different calatheas and they're all a pain. I foolishly bought into "they are good beginner plants"; not this beginner! Wish I had found your channel before then.
wow your home is so gorgeous, everything looks intentional + despite being a smaller hourse w so many plants, it doesn't look or feel cramped/ cluttered at all, very lovely! you style them all so well. thank you for the nice tour of your very amazing collection! the hoya with the long, thin leaves on your high western facing window/ hoya shelf may be the hoya wayetii :) that plant is my friend's favorite hoya lol
Lovely plant collection in your sitting room. It is hard to keep plants near the door way. The big table i would replace it with a tall plant stand instead to save place and put the plants on it. And the big ficus can be move more in away from the doorway to avoid damage. The bumps on the leaves on your jade could be Edema when excess water accumulates in plant tissue causing swellings that can look like blisters on your succulents.
Thanks Mandy. We get freezing temps in the winter and I've had those plants there for about 3 or 4 years now.....I've never had any issues with the drafts. It has never dropped leaves because it was upset lol

Ohhhhh, look at that snow outside! I was born and raised in Ohio just south of Cleveland and moved to South Carolina 5 years ago. I do not miss January in the north! Beautiful plants! I think your string of turtles looks great! I just can’t keep mine alive outside a terrarium. I think your’s look fantastic. (As for those bumps on your Jade… you could just remove all the leaves with the bumps and still have a FULL plant left!!!)
I do not like cold, windy winter days. I don't mind the snow but I would definitely appreciate living in a tropical destination. I have removed a few of those leaves off of my jade plant but I have no idea why it has gotten those little bumps.
What a great channel. I hope you can help me. I have a hibiscus plant that I've had for 4 years or so. It stopped flowering last year and now the leaves have white spots on them. I've been spraying with with apple cider vinegar to no avail. I have to keep this plant as it was dedicated to my loving dog that flew to the rainbow bridge last year. Thank you.

Thanks Lisa and I hope you enjoy your hoodie. Sounds like you do but just want to make sure. The only way I could get my Jade satin to propagate was with a perlite prop box.
