Ronnie Earl is still above average, but it's easy to see that his diabetes is affecting his playing tremendously. Duke hasn't lost a step at all, but it's hard to watch Ronnie like this.

I was thinking exactly the same. He now has to use all his energy to squeeze out a solo, but still very recognizable as Ronnie :-).
It's like his mind is still there and you can anticipate where he's going, but the hands just don't respond like they used to.
I think Ronnie may have Parkinson’s. He’s really struggling and I see a distinct tremor
