That '59 Mantle caught my attention at 1:54, I'd be all over that if i was there (and had the $$$), still don't have a Mantle. That '67 would be more affordable though. Those graded 57's around 4:10 are insane! 7:24 Joe Morgan rookie card! I have one in a PSA 4. Was that a Henry Aaron rookie around 6:52 😮and I thought I saw a '52 Mantle 😮😯😲😵😮Actually I wouldn't know what to do first if i was there..... Love the Bench rookie, great choice. Ron Tompkins appears on two different rookie cards, lol. Cool video!
Great job on this video! What a ton of Vintage at the show. The tall boy pickups were awesome..Can't wait to see what they come back as after grading. Thanks for sharing this!
Sammy , love your video , like how you zoom in on the cards not just zinging by . I'm in the middle of building a 1968 set . Just got a Bench rookie for $ 40 at local store , it's in good shape , not as good as yours , but i'm a set builder for myself , so i'm not picky . Keep up the great work !!!
Love them tall boys. Great colors on them cards. I think I like the Lucas the best. I almost picked up a Jerry west at a show on Saturday but unfortunately I passed on it. Kicking myself for it but I’m sure I will come along on one down the road. Sweet cards as always Sammy. Thank you for sharing.
I just love all of the footage of the vintage baseball. I did catch a aweseome Jeter rookie too lol Seeing all of those T 206's were so freaking cool. I did not catch a Cobb though lol My daddy used to have one !! Ohhhh all I had to do was wait !!! I saw that Cobb ! What a freaking beauty of a card it was !! I love your T 206. I would love to see all of them !! I do not watch or even like basketball but I do love the Tall Boys also. They are just so cool looking. That Bench is sick !! Fantastic pick ups ! Thank you so much for sharing. I know you did not buy it but I loved that Cobb at the show. Thank you so much for sharing !!
Awesome progress on the T206. I have a couple I have been eying. Being very patient. Sam Crawford is a great one! I don’t know basketball cards well. But I do love the Tall Boys as well. Would like to get a Lew Alcindor one of these days. Have looked at getting his second year without breaking the bank. The Bench RC is awesome. Another card I’m looking to get. I feel that value is pretty good for those. However, the price you got is unbeatable.
Fantastic video. I would love to attend a show with that much vintage that isn’t the National. Which show was this? I even saw a book that had some Armour coins in it , which I rarely see at shows anymore.
Seemed like a sweet show if your a true vintage guy like myself- I'm trying to finish up the 33 DeLong Gum set in ex and bttr - raw- if you come across any let me know....I've got 19 of the 24 cards...
Really cool video Sammy appreciate all the footage! Congrats on your Ron Thompkins rookie! Did you run into Eric Those Back Pages at the show? Just watched his recap from the same show earlier.
cool pick up . I have the Variation of the Chase . nice pickups .
Thanks Adam! You have the dark cap?
Wow, real nice Bench card
Thanks Peter.
So weird seeing those 1969 Topps Tall Basketball cards with all the players shirts on backwards!
I was thinking about that today. I want to say that it's a contract thing, but I'm not 100%
Like#27 awesome views of the shows, album collection and tall basketball cards. You have a dream of a collection. Wow Jonny Bench rookie 😍😍👍👍❤️💚✝️💛🧡
Thank you Alan! I am currently selling a portion of my collection to move onto other cards.
Nice pickups, especially that Bench!
Thank you!

There was so many classic vintage cards your head would’ve been spinning 🤣
Hello again, I love seeing what you pick up. I just got back from csg my 1959 Mickey Mantle got a 3.5 an a 1964 got a csg 5. Couldn't be happier.
Splendid results! Congrats on the returns!
Cool show footage. Love seeing your Vintage Pick Ups! T206, Tall Boys, Vintage, Vintage, Vintage! Nice Bench RC. Congrats & Thanks for sharing.
Thanks GC!
@@SammyThunder absolutely!
Beautiful Tall Boys...and they are NBA top 50 players. Real nice.
Yes sir! Focusing on getting HOF's.
Great job on this video! What a ton of Vintage at the show. The tall boy pickups were awesome..Can't wait to see what they come back as after grading. Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you. Can’t wait to send that one in too.
That Bench looks GREAT! I still need one for my set.
Thanks PMan! 😎😎
Like how you shot this! Showing many cards and vendors Kudos!
Appreciate it man!
I think that tall boy Lucas is my favorite, it's gonna look great with the others in a tux.
Thanks Eddy! I think so too! I’m slowly building the 69 set

Amazing price for your Bench RC. Thank you so much. I try to capture the tables as carefully as I can.
Excellent pickups - awesome Bench rookie card!
Thank you!
Great video! Great pickups. Favorite was the Bench
Thanks Alan. That one was likely my favorite too!
If I knew about this show I would have went, I live about 20 minutes away!
I'm surprised there wasn't any marketing in your area. They do a lot of shows out there.
Great Pickups Sammy! I saw a few 1954 Red Heart cards at the show.
Love the Mick 54 Red Heart and that set in particular.
I've actually never seen them before. It caught me eye at that one table.
The good thing is that basketball cards have a slow growth in value. It’s unfortunate, but it makes it easier to buy cards you want for a fair price.
The 56 topps😍. My absolute favorite set. Good luck on getting your 57 Russell holy grail. I recently got my 56 Jackie holy grail
That is awesome! I very much doubt that I will get a Russell 57. Happy to have a couple of his 61's!

Thank you Lisa! Plenty of Ty Cobb's!
Amazing my friend yeah boy
That’s a beautiful Ron Tompkins rookie card! And a great price!
I was surprised that the dealer dropped it that low.
What an amazing show. Great Bench at a great price.
Thank you Doug
Folks can have their modern cards... I'm allll vintage
Right on Ronjon!
Jimmy Ryan usually has a great selection of vintage baseball. He’s the one that runs this show.
He has a nice setup. I’ve made some purchases off his table before.
Wow, Sammy great deal on the Bench RC. Love the 69 basketball cards they are sharp.
Thanks Vintage. Can't wait to send them in for the next SGC submission.
Good video !!! Enjoy it !!!!!!!
Thank you!

The Alcindor is one I’m eyeing as well. The dealer, Vincent, was more than fair on the Bench. Great deals. I’ve seen him at shows before.
Fantastic video. I would love to attend a show with that much vintage that isn’t the National. Which show was this? I even saw a book that had some Armour coins in it , which I rarely see at shows anymore.
Thank you! This show was in Long Island, NY. JPS Sports (nyshows.org) run a lot of big shows about 8-10 times a year.
Sam it’s Jorge I heard you had this channel so I subscribed!
Thank you 😎
Another great video. You never mentioned where the show was. When they grade card authentic do they tell you what’s wrong
With it.
The show was at Hofstra University in Long Island, NY. SGC and PSA do mention it. SGC only recently started doing it.
Seemed like a sweet show if your a true vintage guy like myself- I'm trying to finish up the 33 DeLong Gum set in ex and bttr - raw- if you come across any let me know....I've got 19 of the 24 cards...
The large shows that occur here being out some of the more premier vintage items that you wouldn’t find in smaller shows.
Really cool video Sammy appreciate all the footage! Congrats on your Ron Thompkins rookie! Did you run into Eric Those Back Pages at the show? Just watched his recap from the same show earlier.
No. I don't think so. Tough to find other content creators.
