Great video. I always say volunteer at aid station. You will quickly see which ones to avoid.

Thanks a lot for the great video! I just did a spring marathon with no hydration vest/belt during the cooler weather training, but summer is kicking my butt! Very helpful!

Oh glad to hear it's helpful, Chris! Yes, the start of summer running is a real swift slap in the face! 😆 Give yourself grace and remember it's the effort that matters, not the pace!

I always wondered where runners store their water! Thank you for this very detailed explanation :-)

There are options to carry around your waist, too, but these are far superior in my opinion! Thanks for watching, Alexia!

Hey there, Jane! I am LOVING your videos!!! I’ve been a runner since I was a kid. However, I took a break to have children. 5 children later, and I’m finally getting back to it. I feel like a total newbie at this point and I’m a little overwhelmed by all the things needed. The Tailwind endurance fuel, would that be for a long run (10 miles or more) or would a shorter run (3 miles or so)? Or both? Do you have a website? I just love the ease in which you break things down!

Hi Nicole - it makes me so happy to hear the channel is helpful for you! Love meeting other runner mamas. And no doubt with consistency you will come back stronger than ever! Here's my website: readysetmarathon.com/
So regarding your Tailwind question, it's best for a long run because it has a lot of sugar/carbs to give you the nutrition that you need. I personally don't take anything but water unless it's 10 miles or more, though Nuun could be a great addition on a warm day. I talk about both here: ruclips.net/video/X-crtSvS-n8/видео.html

Haha yeah! You just have to make sure you get the kind that fold up really small. Thanks for watching!

Love my Ultimate Direction Adventure Vest 6.0, game changer. I actually have no chafing with it on. I guess the weight locks the singlet down.

@runningwithjane Yeah, I initially got the Nathan pinnacle something, and it just felt cheap for nearly $200, I sent it back, and I'm glad I did.
