Sonic Movie Robotnik Dance - Theme of E.G.G.M.A.N.

- The first time I watched the Sonic Movie, I really thought they had a lost chance to use Eggman's theme; watching it for a second time has steeled my resolve. Naturally, I used that resolve as an excuse to procrastinate on all the work I have to do in favor of doing a dumb audio replacement of the Robotnik dance scene. I feel like it actually matches up pretty well?

It would be very much in-character for Eggman to dance to his own theme. He is that narcissistic.
As a bonus, it would disturb all but Agent Stone.
I concur.
@@NetMoverSitan Agent Stone will instead start telling Eggman some dance tips and Eggman will shut his mouth by grabbing it & pull Agent Stone closer & say ``I don`t need an assistant to tell me how to move my body in rhythm with a bunch of sounds that sound enjoyable to the human mind. Now give me that Steamed Austrian Goat latte because I LOVE THE WAY YOU MAKE THEM and that's the only reason I`m keeping you alive.`` oh wait that will be too dark for kids :P Lets just change it to shutting him up by making a robot hand cover his mouth.
@@pkmntrainerred4247 How do we know that Agent Stone won't be the human template for Movie Orbot?
@@NetMoverSitan Good point.
This fits so well that I’d like to imagine that this was the original vision but the studio said no.
Me too :'D
Actually, I don't remember where I heard it but I think the song choice was Jim's.
@@zekeram129 I heard that too, yeah! And being honest, as much as we love the classic game music... that scene was still fire
maybe in the 3rd movie
mainly because the Eggman nickname hadn't been established by Sonic in this movie yet, Sonic only starts calling him Eggman when during the San Francisco confrontation
I'd like to point out he has a Crush40 playlist.
Holy crap, he actually does!!
He in fact has TWO!
This movie was even better than I thought!
He also has everyone wants to rule the world
Who doesn't?
"Knowing the danger that lies within-"
*fries his power circuits*
Just imagine the beginning of the song being heard as he makes his return in the second film sksks that'd be clean
Especially since now Sonic calls him Eggman. Like he decided to own the name instead of letting it be an insult. He has a history of issues with bullies so it works. XD
A remix too
Imagine the third movie (that’s heavily leaning on SA2’s narrative) does it instead
@@56brandonray Agreed!
@@SgtSega RIGHT that would work well with his character too
Don't you dare lie, this is what you wanted!
This should have been in the movie in the first place
That's why I came to the video.
This is what we NEEDED!
Of course I want Eggman dancing to his own theme, I LOVE THE WAY IT SUITS HIM!!!!!!!
What do I look like an imbecile? Of course I wanted I HAD TO HAVE IT!!
He’s so used to yelling and being condescending at everyone its almost a reflex at this point
Jim Carrey is the *E.G.G.M.A.N.!!!*
?
0:14 if you look at the top left you can see he listens to Crush 40 lol
if you look at the middle left you can see he has 2 crush 40 playlists
@@KilosFoxo I really want to see him dance to Live and learn and what kind of Holograms are set up for it XD
I can’t see!!
Jim Carrey is to Dr Eggman what Ryan Reynolds is to Deadpool.
This is so very really true.
Or what Willem Dafoe is for Norman Osborn/Green Goblin. There's just no one else fit for the role.
Jim Carrey to Dr Eggman
Ryan Reynolds to Deadpool
J. K. Simmons to J. Jonah Jameson
Willem Dafoe to the Green Goblin
Hugh Jackman to Wolverine
@@IvoryRune Keith David to Al Simmons Spawn
Mark Hamill to Luke Skywalker and the Joker
Kevin Conroy to Batman
I love that the movie still references the Badniks.
It’s such cool details like that which are awesome Easter Eggs! (No pun intended, btw)
Better than the original, I hope they use this theme in the sequel
Nope, they did not, but the 3rd movie is coming soon, it might have it.
The timing was perfect on the power outage.
I think the E.G.G.M.A.N. song should have been in that scene.
Gggf
I will destroy you sonic
@@neelimatiwari4424 Gotta catch me first, Eggman!
0:15 he has a playlist called heavy metal moving over babylon
possible sonic riders reference or coincedence?
He also has a few playlists called "Crush 40" referencing the Sonic Adventure games.
@@JoshL117 not only adventures but others like soic heroes / sonic and the black knight / sonic boom ......
@Sonia Fan_48 right under the leftmost crush 40 playlist
@@JoshL117 Don't forget "Sonic heroes," "Sonic 06," "Sonic and the secret rings," and "Sonic and the Black Knight."
Eggman dancing like a maniac and then screaming when he realizes someone is watching is honestly the most relatable thing in the film
by now everyone's caught the Crush 40 easter egg among his playlists, so i went in with the period and comma keys, frame by frame, to list some of the other titles because they're pretty good.
-Pandemonium of Power Pop
-[something something] Break Beats _(it's cut off at the top, my personal best guess is "Badnik Break Beats")_
-Robotnik Rhythms
-Everybody Wants To Rule The World _(a must-have in an egomaniacal villain's music catalog)_
-Obscure 1970's Canadian Jams
-Soulful Chamber Music of Oppression
-Nuclear Tempos of Rhapsody _(which is frankly just word salad)_
-Heavy Metal Bombing Over Babylon
-Dinner For One _(that might be the best one, aside from C40 of course)_
🎶iii will conquer the world with my too-*AHHH!!*
This story begins with who’s gonna win
Knowing the danger lies within
Sega should make this into an official "music video" it is just so perfectly timed and edited!
I've said it once, i'll say it again. Jim Carrey as Eggman is one of the most perfect castings i've ever seen in my life.
*HOLY SHIT!!!!* HE ACTUALLY DOES HAVE A CRUSH 40 PLAYLIST!!!! Possible music Source for the Sequel? We'll have to wait & see.
Or Easter egg
Wait where.
@@ultrashadow9551 at 0:16 left side of the screen.
@@ishirotanaka oh I see it now, thanks man.
I saw a playlist called
"Obscure 1970s Canadian jams"
Which is great
You synced it pretty good ngl
Love how Stone bops along while Robotnik almost craps himself out of sheer shock. 🤣
You GLORIOUS MADMAN! THANK YOU! I'm not even a die hard Sonic fan but I loved this song and I knew SOMEONE had to put to the move....thank you!
I love the fact that in the next movie his little assistance works in a coffee shop
When Eggman commissioned his own theme song and wrote his own lyrics.
If they don't do this in the sequel I'm quiting Sonic universe forever!
edit: clearly people took this joke too seriously, or maybe I made it sound too serious in the past, so sorry for that.
It's make his entrance more epic in all his bloated glory, where he dances, much to the horror of Sonic, Tails and anyone else watching in the movie. (the audience would probably love it)
@@NetMoverSitan Much to the delight of Agent Stone.
@@marygonzalez2472 Clearly at least one of the writers is open-minded.
I'm just happy they called him Robotnik.
Please don't
This music should've been used for the actual movie
When he said prototype i legit thought he hinted Metal Sonic
Well we've got a sequel so uh, maybe just maybe...
Introverts when their alone
This would have made the movie 10 times better
Not my first time seeing one of these, but thank you for cutting it off when Agent Stone walks in.
This is MASTERPIECE! #jimcarrey
Me when I heard the song in Generations.
This is exactly what I expected it to be, and I'm very glad.
I thought of this as I heard Eggman a little earlier and I am so happy you did it. Thank you ❤️
It fits perfectly.
I wanted to do this but don't know how to do video editing, then I thought "Someone else MUST have thought of it!" and here you are!
This was playing in his head let’s be real here.
Thank you for making this. I was waiting for someone make this song to Jim Carey's Eggman
His machines are made for destruction, and he will build his empire.
Good edit!
its as if it was made for this
there can only be one theme and it can only be the E.G.G.M.A.N Theme :D
This totally fits I don’t know why they didn’t use it in the actual movie
Beautiful
Great edit 🎵👌🏻🤣
My reaction after seeing the Sonic movie 2 trailer.
Doctor Ivo Robotnik(ASH) = Cesar Romero(Joker).
Dr. Julian Robotnik(SatAM) = Jack Nicholson(Joker).
Dr. Robotnik(Sonic Underground) = Jared Leto(Joker).
Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik(1991-1997 + Sonic the Hedgehog(OVA)) = Mark Hamil(Joker).
Doctor Eggman(1998-present + Sonic X) = Heath Ledger(Joker).
Doctor Eggman(Sonic Boom) = John DiMaggio(Joker).
Dr. Robotnik(Live Action) = Joaquin Phoenix(Joker).
This has to be in the 3rd movie
This is so in character, I buy it as Canon now.
I love how he freaks out just as the song is about to mention his 'tools'
1:46
That was fucking awesome 😭
It would be fun if they did add this song in the movie
Not putting Eggman in this part is a huge mistake.
Of all playlists he have...one of then is "Dinner of ONE"...that's sad.
Should've been in the movie to begin with. Though they've tried to avoid calling him Eggman. But the "silly" name is the point; take a name used against him and turn it against others. Instead of a name to mock him, he intends to make it a name to be feared. Same as the Penguin.
I want this with the nice watch nerds song
OMG!!!! This is so cool
That's what I talking about
This should be in the director's cut.
Cuba Pete would fit even better.
Lol it actually would be peak kino if they did that
YES lmao someone actually did it, I was thinking this exact same thing when I saw this scene.
Grant Wish at 11:11 o’clock alternate moment & turn back last time along with my belongings and still keeped for a chance
There's no reason that they couldn't have got this music in instead. Did they not have the rights? I'm sure they could've done it if they wanted...
I love the scream
Why does it sync up?
it bothers me this song isnt on the commercial release of the SA:2 soundtrack
Damn. Great idea. You beat me to it :p
Feels like not using this song was a missed opportunity for the movie
You rock it again Jim Carrey!!!!
This will most likely happen if they made a third movie because of all the hints from the sequel photos of them showing references from sonic adventure 1
I hope this song is in the sonic movie two as the introduction Two Eggman’s return and have it be a remix as well
Better in every way.
Did the stuff he was running from foreshadow Sonic 2? Lol
Does anyone else think of that one part in sonic shorts where eggman dances to sa1 music when watching this scene
amo ver esta serie
I wished this so hard lol
HOLY SHIT YES!!!
I will destroy sonic
@@neelimatiwari4424 shadow is the best anyway lol
Would’ve been kinda cool from a meta perspective, but in-universe it probably wouldn’t have worked.
He’s never been called “Eggman” prior to that point- Sonic only starts calling him that once he and Robotnik meet in San Francisco. And while some of the lyrics are fitting to who Robotnik is at this point in the film, there’s many other lines that are kinda jumping the gun, so to speak. Robotnik isn’t trying to conquer the world in this movie, and his relationship with Sonic literally just started. He isn’t called Eggman yet, and none of the SA2-specific lines make sense either. The only thing about the song that actually applies to Robotnik at that point in the movie is that he builds machines.
I wouldn’t be opposed to the song appearing in a future movie, but I think it was the right call to not use it yet.
No need for this wordy, world salad, essay length comment. We we all get it
This works well but it sadly wouldn't work at this point of the movie, Perhaps in numero tres?
Eggcelente 😈 jojojojo
Does Jim Carrey even know this song exists?
Dr. Robeatnik remix one would suit it too
If this would of happened in the theaters i would fanboy so hard and scream *ARE YOU SERIOUS?!*
His intro scene in the sequel HAS to be this theme!
There is a number of reasons why I didn't like the Sonic Movies. The music is one of them. Hardly used any of the songs from his current games, except Mania and that's about it.
