California is a phenomenal place to live. Especially if you aren’t in the big cities the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. Beaches are beautiful, weather is perfect, people are friendly. Only downsides are bad politics and high housing prices. Luckily Cali jobs also pay more than anywhere else in the U.S. I love my country AND my state.
I'm in Washington... our communist leaders attempt to be like California.
Cali is a great place to live geographically. Great beaches and scenic views. Good weather year round. It's the democrats and libs that ruined the state. Placing terrible policies and taxing every citizen for everything just so the elites behind the curtains can keep aligning their pockets. It's a damn shame

From ga here. it's accurate and reliable 300 round no issues. Must get the red dot. It's key for extreme accuracy. I run Rmr 2 with plate. With a Trl8A and a special holster customized
I plan on getting a red dot soon.
Just ordered mine and mainly got it for the police academy. Waiting for 10 day period and we’ll see how she goes

If you are an LEO you're not required to buy from the CA roster. LEO's are exempt from that.

You have a little bit of miss information there you can’t get different caliber barrels for this gun only 9 mm barrels being the diameter of other barrels like 45,40 caliber and 10 mm are larger in diameter

Pretty sure all M18’s have a LCI not just California. I think the only thing here that’s different from everyone else’s is the magazine disconnect which you can easily remove in 2 seconds. It’s 1 screw and it pops right off. No gunsmith required.
The are four differences
1. Loaded chamber indicator
2. Magazine disconnect
3. External safety
4. Magazine capacity.
Even the military has the external safety, and well yeah we’re in commiefornia so we’re screwed on capacity, I thought all of them not just California has the LCI. Maybe I’m wrong.
@@thelefthandedshooter99 I carry the M18 as my issued side arm. Only difference between ours is the magazine disconnect and the mag size. Ours also has an external safety as well as a loaded chamber indicator.

The FCU will not work with 10mm FWIW, so no conversion to 10mm.

Of course you can remove the magazine disconnect and replace the slide (its optional). I've heard this summer H&K VP9 will be coming to California (its been added to the awful pistol roster) but no surprise it will have Loaded Chamber Indicator and Magazine disconnect.
The loaded chamber indicator and magazine disconnect is the only way it can make it onto the ridiculous roster.

Being that the page name is The Left Handed shooter I was hoping to see that ambi slide lock in action. I'm considering getting one of these because it's one of 2 firearms on roster that I'm aware of with a ambi slide lock

Not true regarding the manual safety california stipulations. I just purchased the p365 and tye m&p compact. Neither of which have a manual safety

I got the franklin armory one before this came out. I think it has better sights and trigger, but otherwise this one is superior.

@thelefthandedshooter99 I really want to pick one of these up. Was hoping Sig made some updates to it, but I haven't read anything that indicated they did.
@@j8nkies20they did. The original trigger was heavy so when the pistol was dropped there was enough momentum generated with gravity and trigger weight to engage trigger and fire. Sig has since fixed it and it should be GTG.
