From ga here. it's accurate and reliable 300 round no issues. Must get the red dot. It's key for extreme accuracy. I run Rmr 2 with plate. With a Trl8A and a special holster customized
Pretty sure all M18’s have a LCI not just California. I think the only thing here that’s different from everyone else’s is the magazine disconnect which you can easily remove in 2 seconds. It’s 1 screw and it pops right off. No gunsmith required.
Even the military has the external safety, and well yeah we’re in commiefornia so we’re screwed on capacity, I thought all of them not just California has the LCI. Maybe I’m wrong.
@@thelefthandedshooter99 I carry the M18 as my issued side arm. Only difference between ours is the magazine disconnect and the mag size. Ours also has an external safety as well as a loaded chamber indicator.
Greetings from Alabama; respect for fighting the fight in CA! The loaded chamber indicator was specified by the military for all M17/M18s, not just Cali guns.
You have a little bit of miss information there you can’t get different caliber barrels for this gun only 9 mm barrels being the diameter of other barrels like 45,40 caliber and 10 mm are larger in diameter
Of course you can remove the magazine disconnect and replace the slide (its optional). I've heard this summer H&K VP9 will be coming to California (its been added to the awful pistol roster) but no surprise it will have Loaded Chamber Indicator and Magazine disconnect.
@@thelefthandedshooter99 When you put it that way, I imagined guns like Walther PDP, FN 509 and etc would have the same fate if they get approved for roster.
Being that the page name is The Left Handed shooter I was hoping to see that ambi slide lock in action. I'm considering getting one of these because it's one of 2 firearms on roster that I'm aware of with a ambi slide lock
@thelefthandedshooter99 I really want to pick one of these up. Was hoping Sig made some updates to it, but I haven't read anything that indicated they did.
It's so sad to see what California has become. Terrible place to be at. That'd be the last place on the US I'd like to live in... or dislike to live in. Fight for your freedoms people don't let your politicians limit you.
California is a phenomenal place to live. Especially if you aren’t in the big cities the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. Beaches are beautiful, weather is perfect, people are friendly. Only downsides are bad politics and high housing prices. Luckily Cali jobs also pay more than anywhere else in the U.S. I love my country AND my state.
Cali is a great place to live geographically. Great beaches and scenic views. Good weather year round. It's the democrats and libs that ruined the state. Placing terrible policies and taxing every citizen for everything just so the elites behind the curtains can keep aligning their pockets. It's a damn shame
moved out of that state and never going back
Good for you. I wish I could move out.
Picking mine up this week in California ! Nice vid 👍🏻
Nice 👍
It’s about time there’s a newer pistol for California.
☹️
@@thelefthandedshooter99is this a reliable gun???

Just took mine out today - brand new CA M18. Great shooting gun. Nice reset too.
👍👍👍
Picking mine up next Monday! So excited can’t wait!
Awesome!!
I have 9 more to go as of 4:40pm today lol…. There’s a certain big box that does 11 day waits in CA
I love my 320 xf, it's so nice having a new handgun in this backwards state
You said it.
Just ordered mine and mainly got it for the police academy. Waiting for 10 day period and we’ll see how she goes

😂 🏳️🌈 👍 BLM ✊🏿
If you are an LEO you're not required to buy from the CA roster. LEO's are exempt from that.
@@EricQuinnhe said academy so I don’t think he is yet.
I didn’t know you had to prove your own guns in the police academy. That’s bizarre lol.
I hope mines comes with a hard case
It should
I’m going to buy one for my birthday in a couple weeks thanks for the vid!

Will the California complaint have the same misfire issue

I plan on getting a red dot soon.

The are four differences
1. Loaded chamber indicator
2. Magazine disconnect
3. External safety
4. Magazine capacity.
Even the military has the external safety, and well yeah we’re in commiefornia so we’re screwed on capacity, I thought all of them not just California has the LCI. Maybe I’m wrong.

I see that you’re also in south OC from your other videos. Could you recommend a friendly local store for a first time buyer?
OC Guns in Lake Forest is a good store.
The FCU will not work with 10mm FWIW, so no conversion to 10mm.
I saw LEFT HAND and you scored an instant sub
Thanks

The loaded chamber indicator and magazine disconnect is the only way it can make it onto the ridiculous roster.

When you put it that way, I imagined guns like Walther PDP, FN 509 and etc would have the same fate if they get approved for roster.
Will it’s either that or no new guns in California.
Exactly
I guess the one good thing about the roster was for a gun like this. Making sure they’re drop safe and not a grenade 😂
In my opinion there is no good thing about the roster.
@@thelefthandedshooter99 i know. I was just trolling sig p320’s

It operates the same on either side.

👍
Why can’t you?
Not true regarding the manual safety california stipulations. I just purchased the p365 and tye m&p compact. Neither of which have a manual safety
Okay
Can you actually mount a sight on this CA edition m18? I heard it has a proprietary bracket
Yes you can it’s the same as the non California models
@@thelefthandedshooter99 TY for letting me know. I am stuck between grabbing the m18 or the 4.5" M&P 2.0. the MP cannot mount a sight
I like my m18 more than my glock . I own springfield 1911 mc operator , and cz75 sp01 too .
👍
Nice video. Price? Just one color available?
My was about $650 before tax’s, fee’s and DROS. Only one color.
Are these still firing when dropped??
Mine doesn’t, since I don’t it.
@thelefthandedshooter99 I really want to pick one of these up. Was hoping Sig made some updates to it, but I haven't read anything that indicated they did.
Do the regular non CA P320 rails and geip modules fit this gun?
Not sure
To answer your question yes you’d just have to remove the mag disconnect and they all work

$770 plus DROS fee and transfer fee’s from Bud’s
I got the franklin armory one before this came out. I think it has better sights and trigger, but otherwise this one is superior.

Yes, it's sold with a single shot grip module.@@thelefthandedshooter99
