I have the Carbon Superfeet. I don't even need arch support, but they're awesome. Nice & comfy womfy. Good heel lock and power transfer. And helped me out with my shell that's half a size too small for my enormously wide flipper feet.
Great review! Do you find as a figure skate that you prefer inline skates where your heel is raised higher than average? Most artistic ice skates seem to be way more raised when I compare them.
Ehh... maybe, but moreso just for consistency when switching back & forth. I’m on risport ice skates now and the heel is way less raised than my old Jackson’s were, but still more than my Seba
Thank you for making this video. I think I need the yellow Carbon Hockey Pro insoles. My feet are just killing me in my new M12's. The small Intuition liners are perfect in width but they're too short and in the M12's the Intuition liners can't be used for downsizing as they're more padded then the stock liners. I would hate it if I won't be able to skate them. Heatmolding the Intuitions and getting these insoles will hopefully be enough. Does the arch really help with pulling your toes back? How much would you say the arch pulls back your toes?
How much heel raise do these insoles have? I'm thinking about getting the blue ones for my Salomons, but I feel like the skates have more than enough heel raise already.
Boni Hollóssy hah sorry. If the insole in your liner is 3-5mm thick, or thin but you have some upward toe room, you can check out either the Footprint Game Changer or the low profile one. They have a little heat moldable arch section that’s... not much but it’s something
@@CityBlades I'm using the stock Salo insoles which are just a piece of 4mm foam. I think i'd like a heel cup most of all, and maybe an insole that's just a tiny bit thicker, but isn't made out of super squsihy foam like a lot of whatever insoles. The skates barely fit me width and length wise, but i'm pretty sure my feet are pretty "low volume" starting from the toes to the instep area. I'll check out the Footprint stuff, thanks.
No idea. I *think* the carbons are supposed to last longer than the yellows, but i have no idea about the volume or height of the arch or anything like that. I'd call Shop Task, they'd probably know.
I appreciate your honest reviews. Thanks for the videos.
Justin McLeod I appreciate you reaching out to tell me that! Thanks man!

Really wish you’d make more videos !

Freestyle Skater in my experience it does; only a few millimeters, but a half size is 5mm so it’s usually enough
Do you recommend them if you want to downsize your current skates to have a tighter fit?
Can help in some cases
Which insole is suitable for tightening the fit?
Do you put them under or in the intuition liners?
that's a subject of debate--try both

Boni Hollóssy oh I wouldn’t put them in salomons

Is the carbon pro just an upgraded version of the yellow or does the yellow have any benefit over the pro?

Tried both, preferred inside
