I love your green pumpkin 🎃 the best, his black facial features stand out pretty boldly against the green colour of his body and I just like the fact that he’s different, you know you don’t usually see a lot of green pumpkins.
LOVE! These are adorable! I don't know that I have a single favorite. I think the grouping of them together makes the ALL look even better. And it's interesting that at the end, all 3 had different faces. (Vinyl inside, vinyl outside, and no vinyl - just gold.) These will look spectacular at your house. I truly loved this project!
I love these. They are so cute. I once painted a guitar by hand using tape to mask off certain areas. I used spray paint to do it. So, I learned the hard way that if you are masking something off, it is best to either pull the tape off before the paint starts to dry, which is very hard to do without smearing the paint, or use a razor blade to score the edges of the masking tape (or whatever you use to mask off an area) after the paint dries and cures, before even trying to remove it. That way you can make sure to leave the paint you want to leave. Nowadays, I use my Xacto knife a lot to do things. Back then, it was all razor blades, safety pins, and duct tape for any decorating, lol. In a tight space like inside of a jar, a razor blade might have come in handy, because the Xacto might not fit where you can move it around like you need to do the cutting. I still love the way they turned out. I love the orange best. I wonder how you can tell which types of glass are safe for real candles and which types are not. I always get something cheap from the dollar store and just wing it to find out. There must be some telltale sign a type of glass can handle heat, other than Pyrex dishes.
Wow! Sounds amazing! I usually like to pull It off before it’s completely dry, but I had to do multiple coats. I think the razor blade would have been the right choice!
thats ironic the vinyl peeled off from the spray paint xD they turned out cute and I really like the over spray of the gold it makes it look like a trim
Mona, I’ve been missing your videos recently. My husband and I enjoyed watching them together but I recently lost him. We were two of your biggest fans. I’m sorry that I have missed your videos but I am putting them on a watch list so I can watch them hopefully soon. It’s hard and I’m sorry for putting this in a public way, just wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgotten you.
It's weird that the vinyl peeled off on the two that you didn't start to try to remove it from. Since it seemed like you tried to remove the vinyl from the orange, but decided against it, yet it came off on the green and ivory ones. Perhaps it's how the two paints reacted? You mentioned that the green one lost some of the crisp edges so maybe the spray paint did what nail polish over nail polish did and made it wet again?
CraftKlatch it’s like this sticky type protective book covering that you use for your school books etc and you can buy it on a roll in clear, coloured and even sometimes Disney And Marvel character prints/varieties. ( hope this helps explain it a bit better, i think some people use book sleeves now instead of the contact, probably because the book contact can sometimes be hard to smooth the air bubbles out of).

Thank you so much Marilyn! ❤️ I didn’t even think about all of them having different faces! I glad you like the project. It was fun for me.
Thank you for inspiring me to find new uses for my glass jars.
Perfect! Get to work on those jars! 😉

The Ivory one is so pretty and classic. I love the green one. I think it would be fun to do a sort of Frankenstein's monster one with that color
Thank you! I have a Frankenstein project coming up - not this Monday, but the next one! I didn’t think of these jars as Frankenstein.
Love the Ivory one especially the gold eyes, nose and mouth.

The orange one is my favorite, but possible a green or brown stem on top would have been better

Yeah, it was weird! I haven’t had that happen before!
Would book contact work??
Hi Clara. I don't know what book contact is.

so cute! i love all the colors.
