I have similar mods to my 2013 model. The screen and mirror mods are a must and can confirm they work. I have ridden it around the world, it now has 71,000 miles on it and it still runs great.

Sorted the issue. Removed the nut/bolt thing that the original mirror threaded into. This gave me a right hand thread to suit the new oxford mirror. Cheers
It's a great add on for rider ergonomics , very underrated bike , been using my v strom for 7 years , it's a joyful ride for me , tailored to my physic and it's a blast

you are super smart with your money my friend, starting with the motorcycle model. you spend where you had to and saved where you could. bravo! One question. I read that when installing heated grips you should switch to led bulbs to compensate for the power consumption. cheers my friend

Really nice and useful add-ons. Please tell us more about the handlebar risers. Are they pull back and what dimensions/manufacturer.
Hi, it brings the handlebar forward towards the rider, rising it by about 1.5 inches.
It makes a lot of difference.

Still Investigating. The kit I've been sent is 10mm RH thread . I think the bike may be L H thread. I need to get a second opinion.

Thank you Christopher. I just use Windex ( window cleaner) to clean the guvi glass on my travels. Works a charm..
When I was time bike, I just use whatever soap, and then wipe it down with a soft cloth.

Have been to some bolt shops. The original mirror is 10mm with a left hand thread. The bolt supplied with the oxford mirror is a 10 mm with a right hand thread. Easy R want to sell me adapters at $18 per mirror.
I was wondering if you removed the threaded section that the original mirror screwed into.(As well as the original mirror) Cheers

Do you need to drill in the bolts when mounting the headlight cover? Or were there some holes already there?
Hey, you can if you wanted too but I didn't.
There is no holes pre drilled.
you need to install Givi Sr3112 top box support.
Not really, it depends on how much weight you plan to carry.. general around 10kg is max I carrru because my top box is not all that big.
The seat looks great. Are you still happy with it? Thinking of getting one myself for my 2021 650xt

Hi Mark, no complaints about the seat. I find it really good and comfy. If I ever get a new bike, I am definitely getting an MJM seat!

I did add a tiny bit of clear silicone to the edge and that fixed the issue.

About the Radiator Guard. I was wondering if there is more heat from the radiator due to the installation of it. I understand the Radiator Guard is to protect the radiator, but I am worried that the bike heats up without it, I can't imagine with it installed. Hope you can read and comment.
Hi Jorge, the radiator guard has good ventilation and there is also a small gap between the guard and radiator which possibly helps more with heat dispersion. I have have the Vstorm since 2020 and have done over 15000 km on it, engine has never heated up and my temperature is always constant between 2 bars and 3 bars.
So in short, it does not cause any overheating issues.

do you ride with a passenger ?? sh23 cases are sharp and protrude forward. can a short passenger keep his legs comfortable?
Hi Tomek. Yes the passenger can definately sit confertably. No issues with short individuals at all.
