Using the whole “I’m the youngest out of everybody and I didn’t know” excuse can’t be used anymore. Tamar has hurt people over the years sorry is just not good enough. IMO. At that table she meant what she said that Vince was better than all of her sister’s husbands. And she made it absolutely clear every chance she got. And I’m glad Traci bought it up. You can’t say things like that and don’t expect it to come back and hit you in the face because it did. The expression “don’t throw stones at glass houses” is crazy once it comes your way! Tamar said two things in that original episode: Vince was totally different than her sisters husbands AND that the dude that Vince is comes at a cost, as the relationship isn’t easy to deal with. We were all hyper focused on the first part of the statement and the horrible delivery. Understandably so. Tamar was mean, nasty and combative. But it took me a long time to recognize that she actually said more than one thing in her poorly timed statement during season one.

My sentiments exactly. At the time, Vince had money & wasn't noticeably cheating. She felt like her sisters deserved better; but it's not what you say, it's how you say it. She was convinced that even though her relationship wasn't perfect, it was worth fighting for. Realistically, it wasn't.

It's hard to feel bad for Tamar in certain moments. I remember the S1 reunion where Tamar was EXTREMELY insensitive to Traci about the situation regarding the record deal and her getting pregnant. Nobody was considerate of Traci's feelings. In fact, Tamar looked proud that she'd just blasted her sister so I don't see a reason for Traci to feel bad about what she said to Tamar.

How do y'all ignore the end of what Tamar said. She said "This one right here is not easy." Honestly what she was saying about Vince was a red flag even back then. She was going through it and putting up with a lot of bs in efforts to save her marriage. I think she felt it was easier for her sisters to walk away from their husbands because they held all the cards, but she was in a position with Vince where he held all the cards.

How did Tamar not know when she was married and divorced before Vincent?!🤔 She was busy judging everybody else husband, yet she's had 2 abusive husbands so far! Her apology didn't mean shit because she's really not taking accountability for what she's actually said and done to them, she's just trying to shut them up! And remember season 1 when Traci tried to tell her how marriage and compromise works and Tamar blew up because Traci said "you're a newlywed, you have to give it some years, if it makes it that far." Tamar got insulted talking about "my marriage is fine baby!" Obviously Traci knew what she was talking about since she's the only one who was still married and never divorced.

But they always tried to play Traci like she was stupid or dumb or off or slow… Traci might have had a different way to put it but she always knew what she was talking about… They always tried to find a way to dismiss her
Tracey always kept it real!! She was that down to earth sibling… she never forgot where she came from!! Trina and Tracey is my favorite….And Tracey will be greatly missed!! Tamar is a brat, Toni is a southern bell and Towanda is a lil’ bit of all of them put together!!

I LOVE how Traci brings back what Tamar said to all of them about their husbands in season 1. You know, she didn't forget that and she made sure to tell Tamar that she wasn't any better than the rest of them like she thought she was.
I understand why Tamar left tho... that’s a lot of heat early on... but hey.. they spoke and she left ... I get both sides here.
