I admire your dedication. I only catch musky when fishing for something else. I love rivers, you have the right idea. I noticed in cold water they'll follow just about anything, if you're real slow. I saw the same fish a couple years in a row, it just wouldn't bite, but it would follow and stop at the pier, 3 feet away. Great spots, you'll be getting one really soon.

There's been a lot of success at the spillway lately! We've had a good amount of rain and when the water is moving, the Muskies are active.

My favorite spot
After moving away from the Fox Valley, I realize how much water access I've lost.
The Fox Valley park district really had an eye on the future when they bought up so much river frontage.
It's a great resource, and lets everyone access shoreline fishing.

time time of year i use to get them by south elgin Police station , there is a deep hole there and also a little down the park. that bait looks good ain't gana lie

Totally up to you brotha but flipping that bail by hand will save you a lot of wear & tear on your reel. Keep grinding man & hope you have a fish filled new year

Rattling suspending jerkbaits. Pull pause technique with long pauses. You need to slow wayyyyy down. Hopefully you use this technique, and if you do I’ll be tuned in to watching you catch one in your next video, good luck and tight lines!!
