    Quick video sharing how I set up a Sound Storm Labs powered subwoofer in my Chevy. LOPRO10 by SSL is a great value for a budget sub, I remember only paying about $150 for the sub with an integrated amp. The sub is plenty loud and hits hard, I definitely recommend it if you are hiding the sub or on a budget. Used self tappers and some brackets to mount the sub directly to the chassis.

    Did you add a crossover or that's straight stock and the sub only?

    • @rocketbrews7758
      @rocketbrews7758  3 года назад +2

      No line out converter required as the amp had inputs for speaker level. Stock radio and just added the sub

      It may not have one, I've not seen many stock radios with a remote output signal wire

    Hey do you think I could install two of these on the same system? Do you know how I would do that? Sorry if that's a stupid question

    • @luiscarlosenriquez8465

      I think it's possible depending on the car audio system, some of them now have more than 1 RCA out or you can use splitter

    • @jasonm.6936
      @jasonm.6936 6 месяцев назад

      As long as you have the power and a good signal splitter/processor, you could run several

    Your blocking the sound waves by having it covered.. not sure why youd do that as sounds is air moving and your blockingnit from entering your car. Your bass would prob be 5x louder outside of the wheel well

      I had mine originally on the back of the back seat. I moved it to under the hideaway compartment. It sounds so much better. I didn't put it with the spare tire.
      The bass is better in the hideaway than open air. I also have a 13 band equalizer built into the stereo and a built in crossover as well.
