It’s kind of wild. How over that really pretty FmajADD9/10 cord. At the end of the second movement Has the trumpets running around in the background annnnnd then that final high C rip on the French horns is so freaking soulful

Why does Mackey attach the eighth note beam to the eighth rest? I noticed him doing that in Foundry as well.

the beam helps you know where the downbeat is since his writing is really rhythmic
