This is the first pedal I've had that can go from a Brown distortion to a scooped Mesa tone all while being able to dial back to get perfect pushed cleans and crunch tones. Much more of a pedal than I could have anticipated.
+NoyzyBoyZ3 I have the hot rod delux amp and it is GREAT !! You won't need a reverb pedal with that amp as the built in reverb is butter smooth. Sounds great with my Fender and my Gibson :) I also agree that this pedal does sound good as well.
look into some overdrive pedals that can utilize less gain and compression, such as a JHS morning glory, J Rockett Archer, Wampler Tumnus and Euphoria, and even Boss ODs can clean up nicely.

this was a great gain pedal for my clean amp. I really recommend it - it's so versatile and everything Brian Wampler seems to make is top notch.
Sounds exactly like a good overdriven tube amp sounds like. Great distortion pedal! I'm impressed.
