I was looking for a dirt pedal, something that can go into different spectrums of distortions. I had these two, the Dr. Scientist The Elements and the new Abasi Pathos (which was also a wampler made pedal). This video got me on the Filaments! Ordering one right now! Thank you. (of course, it only means that I'm buying the filaments first and the others to follow)
Miguel Diaz thx for the comment! I love the Filaments. It can go from kind of modern blues / fusion all the way to modern djent. I know what you mean though, there isn’t one pedal to rule them all and it’s great fun having a variety of them for different tones and feel😃
@@samgoffenguitar I'm so confused. Before this video, I was going for the Keeley. After the video the Sovereign really impressed me and kinda made me switch. But sometimes through RUclips is hard a to say. Filaments reaches more distortion?

Is it me or the Sovereign is bigger sound?
Could be:) personally I preferred the Keeley, it just felt a bit tighter to me. Both do the job though that’s for sure:)

Wampler sure has good stuff, so does Keeley. I think you can’t go wrong with either really:)
