Part of Wampler's Amp-in-a-Box series, the Triple Wreck delivers heavy, rectified high-gain amp tones right to your amp. Use the 3-band EQ to mold in your sonic signature. The Triple Wreck has two distinct voicings. The Hard setting adds a warmer thump to your tone, and the Brutal setting adds a high-end sparkle for a more full-spectrum sound. The footswitchable Boost features a Contour control that lets you tweak your gain to higher and heavier or to a fuzzy mess.
Purchased one 3 years ago.... Never heard of wampler pedals before. The best metal tone I've ever achieved. My life have never be the same.
Metal muff of Electro harmonix is great pedal too!
@@isolirionband7300 The Wampler beats the Metal Muff in every way. Lol
I love watching Nick play and he lends his "metal gravitas" to his demos. I saw him perform last Saturday with Hell Came Home (doing a Pantera cover) and he was awesome!
🤘
This is a very well done review, i like the fact that he uses various guitars to have hear different options
One of my favorite dirt pedals. Wampler make fantastic pedals. I own several and this one is by far my favorite. If you are a Mesa Rectifer Guy this one is for you
That is some kickass tones . Really killer .
Hard is like a 6L6 voice, and the Brutal like an EL34 flavour (as they sound in a Dual Rec, anyway).
This video is a job well done. Nice chugging and shredding while remaining eloquent!
cool pfp
Great demo including the smooth gain tone at the end with the boost turned on and the guitar tone turned down
@05:51 - not entirely right (or wrong for that matter ;) ) - Carlos Santana did indeed come up with the "Boogie" moniker (to describe the Bassman/Princeton hybrid amp that Randall Smith had created in his shop) - but Mesa Engineering was the company name for his House foundation strengthening and Mercedes engine rebuilding Company
Brain should Update this pedal. Make the Boost = Strictly a Volume Boost with No added gain, fuzz or woofiness. It's the Best Dual Recto in a pedal.
Which is better for "chugging".....the Triple Wreck or the Dracarys?
How about this pedal used as a tube screamer in front of a 5150 ?
No way dude this thing has too much gain
No longer available, damnit!
Hi,have anyone tried the Biyang Metal End n this triple wreck?Wanna know the differences between this two..tanx
Eh, I'd much rather use a Joyo Zombie with a Maxon overdrive pedal than this. That being said, I'd be lying if I said this isn't tempting to try. I mean, this is decent enough for practice, I suppose.
Show 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
He's so cute ☺️
Does anybody know that lick? 6:10 tabs please?;
What strings is that? 8-38?
pedal disconnected? why!
Battery? 🤷🏻♂️
So much treble
👏😮😮😮👏👏🤘✌️✌
Du hast
I don't understand the point of pedals like this. If you were the type of guitar player who wanted this kind of tone you probably wouldn't own an amp that does well with pedals like this or you own an amp that already does this. Just don't understand what market they're going for. Metal players without metal amps?
You realize there are many many years of Death Metal where bands had the gain coming from a Boss HM-2, right?... Today you have bands that play with a clean amp with distortion pedals like Russian Circles and Animals as Leaders. Doom metal bands use high gain fuzz pedals... This alternative rig is nothing new. Most high gain amps don't do clean very well unless their boutique and there are many years where in the studio bands used various amps to achieve the best of both worlds. Metallica used Mesa for dirt and Roland JC 120s for cleans. Pedals are better now than they have ever been. It's called imagination and not being afraid of trying new ideas for creativity. #WipeYourOwnAss
The Driver Totally fair and valid answer to my question. You're right I didn't think of that. Definitely no need to be an asshole. I was just asking a question, but thanks.
Also there are plenty of us who like occasional high gain tones but don't want to buy a MESA Recto and cab just for that, I have 6 dirt pedals on my board because I like different flavours, I dont have a triple wreck but I do have a Wampler Pinnacle for more hot rodded marshall tones despite having an el34 high gain amp (Ceriatone Stray Cat). Also most high gain amps still need volume to sound good, sometimes pedals can offer the cranked sound at lower volumes.
Dave Nelson - It's all good. I didn't mean to come off as one. I write as I speak in person but I'll keep mind of that. Cheers.
@@MK-oz2lf what a humble person. rarely see this on YT comments! I was expecting you to come back being an asshole, good for you!
why use an epiphone???
Because Epiphones are tight, duh
Why not?
The owner of Wampler pedals is frankly such an unpleasant guy, I'd never buy one of his pedals. Name calling users on his RUclips channel is probably not the best business plan.
Watched just about all his vids, NEVER heard any such thing.
what are you talking about?
source??
Literally never heard anyone say that. The only person who had a problem with him is Phillip McKnight who, in my opinion, is a tool.
Stupid
