I had the opportunity to see Skillet and Jen live in 2011. It was surreal, she was on a platform and doing a drum solo while the platform was spinning.
You probably will not read this, but for about 4 years I have used Eargasm ear plugs for concerts. They are fantastic additions to any LOUD show. My wife got us these on a whim and I recommend them to everyone at a show that will listen. Quite often I am asked about them. They do NOT block sound like traditional foam plugs, they simply attenuate the dB's and cut any shrillness from a bad mix or clipping of the audio. HIGHLY recommended. The vocals still shine through too!

Couldn't have said it better myself. People always think these ruin the concert experience. I personally think they enhance it.
