As a male harmonica player wanting to play gospel blues I was told the same thing but God instructed me otherwise and I blew Harp in a Gospel Blues Band for over a year. We played in all of the churches that allowed us to play and also at homeless shelters. We had alot of fun spreading the gospel with Gospel Blues. We spoke alot too about the meaning of the songs we wrote. It was all 100% original material.

I love how Jen during the verses is keeping it tight, in the pocket, looks focused…as soon as it gets to the chorus it’s like the psycho in Jen’s head comes out 😂😂 In all seriousness, amazing drummer, and love the passion you show in every song..you must go through some amount of sticks, I’d love to see more videos like this :)

Jen has inspired me in so many ways, I started to play the drums again. Also to always be myself and don't let anyone pull me down and having God with me 24/7 gives me strength to overcome hurdles. Her artwork is also something I admire as I am also artistic and creative
Possibly the most underrated drummer/vocalist of all time. Certainly in the female category. This girl is a legend. I just love everything about her style. She (and the whole band) deserves every bit as much fame as Metallica. Lord knows she's better than Lars.

I've been watching a lot of skillet band's live videos on RUclips for a long time, but it was very disappointing that there was no video featuring only jen ledger. But I'm so happy and thankful that you uploaded this kind of video. I would appreciate it if you upload more videos like this in the future

She’s holds that pocket nice, but she’s not even displaying limb independence here. I don’t believe that any of their songs do. You have to get into more technical music like prog to actually see full limb independence.
I seen you and the rest of Skillet in Pikeville during the Rock Resurrection Tour. You guys were awesome. Saint Asonia and Theory of a Deadman were awesome too. You are an amazingly talented person Jen. You’re an awesome drummer and you have an amazing singing voice.
