- Today the Honda Civic project car gets new glass and window molding out in , unfortunately I had to pay someone to do this as the cost of tools and time would not be worth tackling myself and the risk of scratching the paint ! But over all the car is looking excellent!

HI Chris the Civic is really coming together now and is looking like showroom quality, I don't blame you for calling in the experts to do the front and rear windows as it could become really expensive quite quickly if you scratch the paint or worse break a window as those things cost a lot💰😲👍John UK.
Yup and what I found was the rear window is discontinued as well didn’t want to run that risk
0:08 Your first time paying anyone to do anything on your car, huh? I have found out lately with my recent build any time that I paid anyone to provide a part or complete part of the engine, it was wrong and I suffered long hours of troubleshooting only to find out someone else messed it up. You did a fine job of taking out the rear side glass, and you probably could've done this as well. Thank you for sharing!
Yeah I think I could have done it but I required more tools and more materials and time that I just didn’t really have , but I did watch on the side lines to make sure it was done right
@@Mechaniclyfe Yeah I painted a 350Z recently and in the process broke the windshield. I had the glass company swap it out in the paint booth. Definitely something to be said for someone with experience doing glasswork. If it breaks, not your fault! Car is coming along nicely.
Sometimes Chris you have to bite the bullet and pay a professional to do certain jobs looks sweet brother
Yes sir , first time I paid for something to be done but had to .
