NCSA is a SCAM. Stay away from them. Look at all of the bad reviews they have first. They contacted me and my son after 2 years of harrasing us with phone calls, all hours of the day every single day. They will take your money and not help you at all. Then when you try to get your money back they will refuse to give it back. And force you to keep paying.
Hi, Becca. About NCSA: went through the process of setting a NCSA profile for my daughter, received email and finally call from Chicago office, witch basically a sails call. Got evaluated, and pitched an annual plan for 2500$, but if we decided "today" they would discount to ~1500$. We respectfully declined. Next day tried to look at my daughter's NSCA profile... couldn't log in. They blocked it completely. We are from Lithuania :). Moral of the story is: you can do it yourself: make video and edit them, put on RUclips, write emails and talk to coaches. Hope it helped. Take care ✌
@@JusteVilimaiteVolley They are scammers... They harassed me for over a year. They called every single day for a year. Me and and my son got on the phone with them for a hour. Then they tried to rush us into making a decision to pay them money. Just like in your story they offered to lower the price. I told them to call me back some other time. I told my son i wanted to do research on them to see if they are legit. I found out that they post hundreds of fake good reviews on BBB Website and on Trust pilot . I went to other review sites and they have all bad reviews calling them scammers. Once you give them your payment information you cant get a refund. And they don't help you at all because they already got your money locked in... It`s a big fraud scheme.
Hey Richie! Amazing what you were able to accomplish. It truly is about the size of your heart. You've got a new subscriber here! My son is an ice hockey goalie similar in size to what you were. My question is around the recruiting/scholarship process. As far as my son goes, we won't be getting scouted by any NCAA D1 or D2 programs. His speed is more ACHA. I know these kinds of programs don't offer scholarships, but if a coach at a highly selective school really wanted a particular player on his team, could that help him gain admission to the school? Would or could that coach go to Admissions and say "I want this kid."? Assuming of course his grades are up to par.
Thank you. Yes, they absolutely can 100%. It happens all the time. They need to be somewhat close though to admissions qualifications. They can't be way off. It is all about your relationship with the coach and how much they trust you. It's critical your son begins building these relationships now so he can build trust. All it takes is 1 coach to believe in him at any level to give him a shot.
Absolutely, I am glad too. However, it is almost identical to a HS athlete. From a marketing and selling yourself perspective. Have you seen this video in the meantime? ruclips.net/video/LcNDGu-Z240/видео.html
So the process for basketball is the same as football when it comes to doing outreach and building relationships to earn a scholarship, I am still in the process of learning how all the conferences work at this point.
Your kid if he is good will get recognized based on his talent and numbers that are shared nation wide you don't need to pay these people. Our son has full ride offers NCSA did nothing to promote him. They only sent us spam from colleges that bought advertising space from them.
Be careful giving people the advice that if your kid is good coaches will find you. I am glad your son has offers but there are hundreds of thousands of HS players that are very good and need to market and sell themselves to get infront of coaches and close on scholarships.
@@richcontartesi Agree - However I paid NCSA and you know how many coaches contacted me through them???? ZERO NCSA is not your friend they don't put you in contact with anyone.
I just got a text and missed call NCSA for my son. Your video is extremely helpful.I will be showing this video to my son. Sincerely Thank You.
Awesome!

@@JusteVilimaiteVolley NCSA is a scam. $1500 ripoff. All they do is promote shitty camps that low level colleges pay them to promote. its complete BS

Where’s the link? Although my son plays baseball, I think this book would be great. Thank you for the video.
It's the first link in the description :)
Hey, love what you do. Can you make a video on how to get a D1 football scholarship as a JUCO player, what to do if your greyshirting?

@kneedragon76 is right. This service is good if your kid is a d2 or d3 level player. Twitter/X is just as effective.
