These are so pretty with your lovely papers. :) It can be hard to juggle all the families' desires to spend time during the holidays! My daughter and niece are grown with families of their own and they are always trying to juggle many family expectations. Plus, we live 1700 miles apart! So we have Thanksmismas in late November. We have a turkey dinner, then the kids hang their stockings and the next morning we have Christmas! Strange, perhaps, but it works for us! 🎄🦃 Then they can have their family time over the actual Christmas holiday. Hope you have a nice time with your family however you spend the holidays!
Great project. Christmas is a family day for us here in Canada. My hubbie, daughter 25, and son 23 that still live at home. We get up in the morning, get the turkey ready to go in the oven. And head to the tree to open our stockings and presents. Breakfast is eaten while we do presents, and it is a traditional sour cream coffee cake that my mom and I used to have. The afternoon is spent playing with our new gifts. Dinner is turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and corn. Followed by pumpkin pie and whip cream. ❤
I so enjoy your prettt mass makes. We are a doxie dog family. Our last one is a 12 yo rescue and such a love bug. Fit right in. He had horrible breath smell and had to have 19 teeth out. Over the months we understand...he has a sweet tooth and any food he can climb on chairs to get...or in the garden. His latest is a carrot from the garden we dropped.
I've been enjoying making these pockets, I used a 12 x 12 sheet but still turned out great I got 2 out of a 12 x 12 and a dinky one from 6 x 6 really easy and relaxing to make. Yes Costa do allow dogs, we recently found out whilst in Cornwall, our Archie was welcomed in ! They don't have a sign on the doors yet but they are allowed in. We went to 2 different Costas and both times he was allowed in ! We love taking him into places with us he enjoys it as much as we do x
These are such a great way of adding space to your journal beautiful and functional! Our kids are all grown and have their own families so we usually have a traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey and all the fixings, then we’ll have a family gathering sometime before Christmas and have finger foods and give gifts, always looking for some way to change things up a little
I forgot about these floating pockets, too! See? It is so good of you to go through them all again. I am excited that it is finally cooling down where I live, Michigan, USA. Nights have been in the 40-50° Fahrenheit range and daytime temps in the 60-75° F range. I just love autumn! We are watching the leaves on trees changing color, sipping apple cider, and starting to winterize the yard. I'm starting to want to make delicious soups and casseroles again, now that it is cool enough to want to stand over the stove or run the oven. ~ Take care, Tina.
Love these pockets. My family gets together at my son’s house. For the last several years we have had lots of different appetizers instead of a full dinner for Christmas. ❤
Thank you for sharing the floating pockets. I will get some made this week! I have a son and daughter, both grown. My daughter decided I was a horrible mother about 2 years ago and decided not to be in my life. I understand that is a thing where kids choose to no longer be part of the family who raised them. I don't dwell on it. Maybe I spoiled her? Anyway, it is way easier to go out to an Asian Buffet. It is my son, his wife and my only grandchild a boy. Everyone can find something they like to eat. At least I spend time with people who love me and want to be in my life! Hugs from Texas.
Why do they do this I wonder, my daughter has done exactly the same to me this Yr, and I have no idea why ! I just cook for myself and my other daughter who has severe learning disabilities, and we stay home, as here in the uk the weather isn't that great, but TV has some good viewing on at Christmas. You have a good time whatever you end up doing. Xxx
I'm in the same boat with both of my daughters. I spent the majority of my adult life bein a stay-at-home mother... putting my children first, protecting them, nurturing them, fighting their battles, and what did it get me? A simple petty argument caused one daughter to turn her back on me. My second daughter doesn't talk to me anymore and I have no clue what I did. When I ask her, she never explains what I did. I can't fix a problem if I don't know what the problem is. Anyway, life goes on. As a breast cancer survivor, I realize life is too darn short to dwell on the negative. If nobody wants me in their life, then so be it. My eternal life isn't contingent on what mortal man thinks of me... only what my Heavenly Father, who created me, thinks.
My oldest daughter and my son don’t bother wit me either. But my youngest daughter age 24 is still in my life. I don’t why the kids do that when you are always there for them and trying to help them when then ask. But it’s ok. I have one daughter who wants to be around me and doesn’t ask for anything.
@Craftingisrelaxing It's definitely a head scratcher. I'm beginning to think I shouldn't have wasted time having kids at all if this is what it amounts to. What's the point in giving of your total self to be pushed aside like you are no big deal.
@@christine0nowell757 When my daughter was still talking to me and blaming me for her miserable life, a very good friend told me that trend in therapists was to allow their clients to blame all their life disappointments on the parents. Seems like a total unrealistic view of life. I was not a perfect parent, but who is? I would probably allow her back into my life should she want to in the future, but lots of counseling would need to happen. Good luck to you and make your own life as you want it.
Ooh, dating! I started a new relationship at 43 after 25 years of marriage. 20 years later we are very happy and married. Good luck, just be yourself. Lovely pockets, very pretty. Thank you for bringing sec lovely projects to give us all inspiration.
hi tina! i met my husband on an online app. we dated 3 years and have been married almost 11 years. (he was the 2nd guy i met online). enjoy the process. love your videos and journals!
I love being home on and Christmas. Thanksgiving the whole family goes to my daughter’s beach house, we all bring a plate so it is not all on one. We have a great time.
I love the pocket, so very pretty. We use to do a traditional Christmas with everyone at our house or my daughters house. One year we went to LakeTahoe and stayed a week for Christmas there. We loved it with all the beautiful snow, it was lovely. I would love to do it again sometime. I would love to go to the beach/Coast for Christmas again , we have done that before at Christmas as well. Since my daughters husband passed away two years ago we don’t really do anything on Christmas at all. Thanksgiving is usually one day of giving thanks with family and friends sharing a table full of good food, no gifts. Not a super big Holiday in the US like Christmas, just a lovely day. 🎅🏻🎁🎄🧸🦃🍗🌽🥔
Christmas in my house, now that my 2 daughters are in their 30's is very different. My eldest daughter cooks Christmas dinner at her house and brings my hubby and I up our Christmas lunch and then the whole family (11 of them) come to ours in the afternoon for desserts and for my daughters to open their presents (the grandchildren have theirs left from Santa at their house for the morning, but I still love the pleasure of seeing my daughters and sons in law faces when they open their presents). Then Boxing day everyone converges at our house for lunch, dessert and we all have one present each to open (longstanding family tradition). I have spent Christmas in Australia with family, when I was young and single and I would highly recommend, though it was weird being in the sun, when you know it should be cold and frosty.
The floating pockets are so cute. My husband and I are traveling in our motorhome . We've been out about 6 weeks so far. We will be heading home in 3 weeks. We like to be out about 6 months a year. I'm never bored because during our travels I work on junk journaling projects. I try to craft along with you at least once or twice a week..
these are so lovely Tina, We are in summer at Christmas, but for years we did the big full hot dinner a Christmas pudding, that I made 2 months before, but when the kids got to tweens, we got a BBQ for Christmas, and my eldest daughters husband said why dont we have a BBQ, so that started a new tradition and we did that until 5 years ago when we put our caravan on a permanent site and we told the kids if they want to see us for Christmas they would had to come to the lake, since my husband died in August the kids what to do the family dinner, I think its so I wont be on my own, thank you for your lovely video and idea's ...Kia Kaha Stay Strong...❤ I have changed my channel name to Maggies Place
Tina, the floating pockets is a great idea, I made my out thicker Christmas wrapping paper, thank you for always sharing such wonderful and creative ideas, enjoy your day, big hugs Tina.
Never had a vacation anytime.. but Christmas was always a tradition to go to my grandma's on Christmas Eve and have a sandwich tray kind of dinner and then Christmas day was a huge spread of turkey, ham, potatoes, rolls, green beans, sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli, carrots and cauliflower, corn, stuffing, potato salad, coleslaw, macaroni salad, gravy (grandma made the best gravy) then there were desserts. But grandma passed away a few months after my dad, and we started doing our own dinners at home. Thanksgiving is just about food and gathering together. No gifts.
This will be our 5th year of going out for Christmas Lunch , we love it . We've gone with family and on our own and one year with a friend . We love it. My parents went on a Christmas cruise and for them it ruined Christmas. The cruise was good, but they felt the festivities were forced, and it was just a bit meh . But you'll need to book now to get into decent restaurants, infact most popular places take bookings from August/September. Love the pockets . I googled Christmas trends and it seems its highly decorated trees , in traditional ornaments but the colour theme seems to radient red and electric blue and a vibrant green ❤

Oh Linda, thank you so much for your kind words, it means so much to me to be a part of your daily routine and life, thank you 🤗🥰. It was lovely to hear more about your life. It sounds like you have a wonderful family, and growing even more . Gosh, you have soooooo many crafts that you do, you are very talented and flexible to be able to turn your hand to so many different crafts, which is just awesome. Can’t believe you start your Christmas crafting in July, you’re super organised. Loved reading your comment, have a fab day xx
Lovely pockets, they are great and can use it for so many things. We are also thinking of going out for Christmas. My husband is a Chef and is always working on Christmas. But this year he is of but I will be working in December and only get of on the public holiday days. We do not feel like spending so much time cooking and cleaning on Christmas but it is expensive. Maby it would be good idea to get a platter and relax at home. I hope you will have a great week. Keep well and take care. XxXx
I will definitely put these on my list of pockets to make. They look all the more beautiful in your gorgeous papers. I will have some more printing this week to do. TFS!!
I just made a new journal for my daughter on Sunday, and I will have to make a few of these pockets for it. Thank you for the idea! Once again, I love your work.
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas are all special. Thanksgiving is an eat fest. Our family laughs we have the same pies as people-with 10-30 people over the years. . Christmas Eve and Christmas were always alternating for me with my mom's side and dad's side. And were like that with my son. Each family I think has their own special traditions. Thanks for the great mass make.
Great floating pockets,so pretty 😍...this year my husband and I are on our own wich i am looking forward to because my kids have their own little family's.my parents used to go to a turkey and tinsel for their xmas xx
Hi Tina. I've followed you for years but don't comment very often. I love these pockets! Watching from Colorado in the USA. I'm so happy that Bo will be able to go with you now. My dog goes almost everywhere with me. 🐕🦺❤
Girl in the states, here! To address the holidays, at least for my family in Oregon, Thanksgiving is about food and family. Generally the men watch sports and the women hang out in the kitchen and cook. Each family usually brings a dish or pie. The kids play. We make turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, rolls, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, pies( pumpkin, of course, apple, blackberry mince meat, depending on what we want that year. We have a rather large family and it's a buffet style feast. We don't exchange gifts at Thanksgiving. For Christmas it's a repeat basically, lol. But we have a tree and gifts. We used to take turns hosting, but now my aunt and grandma are gone. Mom's getting older and my cousin has been I'll, so it's been at my house. Since I've been hosting I like to add mulled Cider and mulled wine to the menu. ❤️Edited to add that Son does enjoy the cooking more than the sports. Proud Mom, here! 😉❤️
Loved this video. I jumped up and made 3 straightaway. Relatively new to junk journalling. Absolutely loving it. So many wonderful tutorials to help us newbies. Thankyou for the fab floating pockets. Xx
Yay, thank you for crafts along and making some. Welcome to our lovely community and the wonderful world of junk journals , they’re really addictive aren’t they? Xx
Oh my goodness, they are. Collecting all the goodies from every available source is also addictive!! Even hubby comes along to look for things I need for a particular project!! Defo going to mass make your beautiful pockets, ready for next one. Only a few bits left to finish off my current journal so they’ll be very useful. Thanks again. Have a lovely day 🙂🙂
When I’m thinking about variety of pockets which I want use I can come to your channel. These are great!! Our family is kind of like yours the kids are all getting older and none of us wants to cook that much food. So we decided to do a buffet style and everyone has to bring something that we’ve always had. But we’ve also changed things up and made non traditional things, I think it’s more about the people you’re with than the food. For use it’s a time to all get together and play games and just have in each other’s company.
Hi Tina! Very cute pockets! Now that our children are grown, we order some trays of food and make a couple side dishes so that we can relax on Christmas. Thanksgiving here is the traditional meal and is a lot of work. We went out to a restaurant one year but it was so expensive and then we had no leftovers so I wound up cooking a dinner the next day anyway! Have a good week!
Thanksgiving is all about food and family. It's a big holiday. Everyone gets together and eats a lot of food. We watch Macy's parade. Christmas is a big deal also, pretty much the same as the UK. 🙂❤️
Lovely idea. Here we have a traditional Thanksgiving and on Christmas we BBQ, and exchange gifts. Just have fun. Most of my grandchildren are grown and I have 6 great grands. Not all live close so I don't see them often. We will video chat.. 🤗🙏❤❤
I have seen you make these each mass make and I just had a thought, I may hinge on to put in a journal, so that I have a page pocket that looks lovely on both sides. Thanks for jogging my mind. Love your creativity. hugs from the US Roxanne
Love your videos. In south africa we only celebrate christmas. We realy go all out. There are those that rather braai. Boring. We have just my kids and grands evening of 24th. Big meal. Lots fun. Then 25th anyone who would like to spend the day with us. Its summer so that day all left over meats from 24th and salads. Cold desserts.
Love these beautiful pockets! Here in the Midwest US, Thanksgiving is all about the food - with family. We always had Christmas Eve with my hubby's side and Christmas day with mine. We still get together with all our aunts & uncles & cousins on my dad's side (at a community center) the week before Christmas. Exhausting - but fun! So great that you're getting out there and dating! Must be daunting but exciting too.
Thank you so much Jeanne. It’s lovely when families have their Christmas traditions, who they spend time with on which day etc, it sounds like you all have a lovely time xx
Lovely pockets ,Tina! For the holidays we all bring a pacing dish to lighten the work for who ever is hosting it. It’s exciting that you are dating! You’re so special, so don’t settle for anything but the best! 😉
Great pocket ideas, and I love hearing about what you do in the UK. Here in the States, I think Thanksgiving is more about food, family, and friends getting together watching football and parades on tv and just spending time together. Christmas is a shared family holiday where several family members take turns hosting and cooking all the food. We also play games with the gifts. Over the past couple of years, bc of the economy, we have all been pitching in and helping the host with side dishes, drinks, and desserts, so it's not so expensive on just one person. Maybe that's an idea for your family, so it's not put all on one person. ❤❤❤❤❤
cute lil pockets! Thanksgiving=food only. Christmas we always prefer to have at home even if it's a small dinner and presents. :) I live in Tampa, FL. Awaiting the huge hurricane Milton. :( Seriously, getting annoyed with these storms interrupting my life. LOL I didn't evacuate (never do). One of these times I will probably regret it. Have a wonderful week!
Hello Tina! Great pockets to fill up with goodies! My family has gone out to dinner on Christmas Day a couple of times and we enjoyed it. We went to a place that serves prime rib, steaks, fish, and pasta dishes so everyone could get what they wanted. The only negative was that we really didn’t want to get dressed up and leave the house and would rather have relaxed around the tree. 🌲 We also have ordered turkey dinner from a local grocery store which it was ok but not as good as home cooked foods. Indian food doesn’t sound very Christmassy to me, but I’m a pretty traditional person. 😊 Whatever you decide, I hope it’s a wonderful Holiday!!
Tina, what nice easy pockets these are. Your two decorated pockets are beautiful, as always. I am in Louisiana, USA it's still pretty warm here for us but mornings have been cooler and humidity is not as bad this time of year. We have mild winters most of the time and if it does get extreme cold it usually only lasts a few days at a time. I believe next week we are finally going to have a few days of actual fall weather, which I am very much looking forward to. Almost finished with a 2nd fall journal. Hope you have a good day.
Thank you so much Robin, I enjoyed hearing about the weather in Louisiana. I can understand your looking forward to the actual fall weather as that is not necessarily the norm for that area. Have a fab day also xx
These are so quick and easy! I just made four! Hugs sweetie, MK ❤🤗♥️ That first part was typed 10 minutes in and oh my GOSH girl, you're DATING??!?? How wonderful, how brave, how scary! I was totally surprised when someone turned my head last week! Let's see if anything comes of that! 😬😬 Holidays used to be very hard for me, so for years I went to Hawaii all by myself for Christmas. I remember someone sitting on the plane next to me saying, " Oh! You're going to Hawaii for Christmas... Do you have family in Hawaii"? I said, "No, I have family in California...". .nuff said. Anyway, my Christmas dinners were luaus when I was there. Always had a wonderful time all by myself. 🙋 I've seen pink and gold Christmas displays around here, Midwest, USA. 🤷 Oh! And I totally get your apprehension about the 7:30 start time for your play. That would have concernd me as well! Now, having said that, we've got tickets to see the Transiberian Orchestra in December - showtime - 8:00 AND it's 1 1/2 hours away. I've seen their shows and have no fear of falling asleep there, I'm just glad I won't be the one driving home! And I must throw in here that my girlfriends husband slept thru most of a Van Halen concert -- explain THAT to me!
Hi Tina, great news to hear you are getting out on a date, hmmm good luck ❤ love these pockets can’t remember them but in saying that i forget things a bit more often now days must be crafters brain as i certainly wouldn’t be because i’m getting older lol🤣🤣
happy to hear about your date :) i still have not been brave enough to venture online but wishing you the best! Christmas has turned into catering so that no one cooks and there is more time to enjoy each other, i guess its really not about what you eat but rather, being together during the holidays...
Thank you so much, honestly I wish people just met up like they used to, but it’s not very lively where I live so I guess online is the way to go…..not ideal though, it just seems like hours of endless texting, and then never even meeting up 🙄😂. You’re absolutely right, Christmas is really about being together, not what you’re eating. Good luck with the online dating if you do decide to try it 🥰 xx
@@shabbydabbydoodah thank you for the well wishes but im still hoping to just run into mr.right (living in a dream, denial?) either way just trying to just enjoy life each day 🥰
Aloha from Aloha, Oregon, USA! Hi Tina.. love your channel and can’t wait to try these pockets! I love mass making ephemera to have to pull from when I’m making journals. Happy fall🍂🍂from Valora
These are a great staple but forget to make them so glad to get some done today! They're predicting snow! 😄. Happy birthday shabbyDADDYdoodah🙊. Lol I'm exactly the same for nodding off early. Oh Rolling stones, how cool 😎. I was born in the late 60's🙈 a couple of months before the moon landing so only just! Music would have been good for that though. Yes, I get up about 3:30-4:30 so don't last😄. We're Starbucks fan, the chai latte is AMAZING and Costa's is very different. Lol crafty kids 🙊. A date? Woohoo🤘 Tina you should have lead with that 😄 you've been holding out on me Mrs woman! Just have fun 😁. Half term next week. You usually have to book Christmas lunch really early, I hope you get in. I've made over 30 Christmas dinners and helped in about 6 more 🙈. One I did for 15. I'm ready for a restaurant Christmas tbh Indian food is awesome but couldn't have it at Christmas. A Christmas cruise would be wonderful now the kids are older. Somewhere cold and festive. Thanksgiving seems like a practise for Christmas lol. Don't feel you HAVE to do a Christmas kit, a project with an older kit would be just as good as we don't use them much.OMG PLEASE share your recipe in a short! I'm making porridge today . 🙌for Bo! My son starts 6th form next year. They look gorgeous decorated😍 especially the floral one. I got 10 done today (no decorating though) 🙌. Couldn't live without the internet, my favourite people are online friends🤗. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Hi Tina, I’ve had two Xmas holidays both skiing. The 1st in Bulgaria which was great - lots of snow and a great evening meal with entertainment- but that was in the 1990s. The other in California for Xmas and new year 1999/2000, that one was not great Xmas atmosphere was almost zero. Totally put me off Xmas away. I love Xmas, 73 years my daughter and I take it in turns to do Xmas day traditional lunch. I do as much as I can Xmas eve and make and freeze early in Dec. Hope you come up with something to suit your family. Xx
Beautiful Tina. Quote: "Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better." - Albert Einstein. Please send prayers for Wednesday. Last storm here of this magnitude was 1912. We are expecting a direct hit to # Saint Petersburg, which is the Tampa Bay area . It is predicted to produce a potentially devastating ocean surge over 10 feet in some areas, including perhaps in flood-prone Tampa Bay. It's worrisome to say the least. But I'm trusting we'll have Positive Vibes and Blessed Prayers. Namaste 🐞💜🐞Huge HUGS and prayers. Namaste 🐞💙🐞
Xmas is dialed way down now I'm on 24/7 oxygen. My carer and I do a combo Xmas and get a takeaway - the joy of not cooking and comfort of home with Xmas Telly. Our local Asian and East Asian takeaways don't celebrate Xmas but we make sure they get a decent tip and a carton of chocs to show that we appreciate them being open.
Thanksgiving's never been the big thing. Christmas has always been the biggest thing for Christmas for America. This year on Thanksgiving, I'm just gonna stay home and cook. That's what America has on Thanksgiving. They just stay home and cook well. Most of them.
Tina, echoing the others but Thanksgiving isn't generally much more than a gathering to eat. Can be family but often is friends. I can honestly skip it and often do.
Dating 😮👏 you go girl 👏🥰🥳 i and my cat Pus spend Christmas Day with my mom. She is 82 and very forget full so we are at here house making dinner together 😊 i dont use printebulls but can it have wintery trees with birds and snow men? Well then., see you next week 🥰 lots of love from Arctic Norway 🥰🌸🌼🍀
Christmas hasn't been the same since my grandma and stepdad passed away.... They were big on the holidays. I really like decorating but its only me so whats the point. My husband likes to cook a giant meal which means i get to do a ton of dishes. Merry Christmas 😟
I noticed that some of the pockets you glued the tabs only while others you glued behind as well. This means some have a gusset while others are glued down. Was that intentional? It did make for different sized pockets which gave a nice choice. Thank you for sharing this technique
No, we only change gifts on Christmas. Usually Christmas Eve, but not Thanksgiving at all. Thanksgiving, we just stay home and cook the most people for America. I stayed home and cook, but now we change Christmas gifts either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, but not Thanksgiving. I don't know what anybody else does on. Thanksgiving, or if they even do anything for Thanksgiving in other states but I know for America, we only exchange gifts on Christmas.
These are so pretty with your lovely papers. :) It can be hard to juggle all the families' desires to spend time during the holidays! ❤
My sister met her partner on line. They just celebrated their 24th anniversary. Good luck, and I love these pockets.
These really are cute! I always forget how much difference that folded edge makes.

I forgot about these floating pockets, too! See? It is so good of you to go through them all again.
I am excited that it is finally cooling down where I live, Michigan, USA. Nights have been in the 40-50° Fahrenheit range and daytime temps in the 60-75° F range. I just love autumn! Love these pockets. My family gets together at my son’s house. For the last several years we have had lots of different appetizers instead of a full dinner for Christmas. ❤
Thank you so much sally. Great idea for an alternative to Christmas food , xx

I’m glad you had a nice time on your date. Love your videos ❤and thank you
Lovely pockets and they would make great additions to journals to include some ephemera so the person receiving it can do their own decorating.🥰
I'm excited to hear about you going on a date ☺️ I love your videos and hearing about your family and things we've been up to ❤ I'm from Ohio in USA ❤
hi tina! i met my husband on an online app. we dated 3 years and have been married almost 11 years. (he was the 2nd guy i met online). enjoy the process.
love your videos and journals!
I love being home on and Christmas. Thanksgiving the whole family goes to my daughter’s beach house, we all bring a plate so it is not all on one. We have a great time.
Love these pockets ❤ am mass making with you. Love your videos
Yay, thank you for crafting along with me xx
Thank you so much Nicolina m great idea for your thicker wrapping paper. Have a fab rest of your day xx
No gifts.
Another lovely project ❤️

You amaze me, looks so easy when watching you. Mine turn out wompyjawed.
TFS!!
Have fun with yours xx
Love these pockets Tina! Making one right away for bible journal I'm working on. Yvonne from Collierville , TN.
Watching from Texas!!
So easy and useful. So many size possibilities and uses. ❤
Thank you so much xx
Love these Tina, thankyou 😊 The weather here for Spring is pretty ordinary atm 🤧🥶
I just made a new journal for my daughter on Sunday, and I will have to make a few of these pockets for it. Thank you for the idea! Once again, I love your work.
Thank you so much Teresa, have fun with these xx
In Canada people mostly do Turkey dinner for Thanksgiving (ours is this coming weekend) and for Christmas. Love the pockets ❤
Please like, comment and subscribe ❤
For use it’s a time to all get together and play games and just have in each other’s company.
i’m in Canada, so thanksgiving is next Monday. Canadians celebrate in October rather than November. We don’t exchange gifts, just at Christmas
We usually do Chinese for Christmas!😊(my sister and I) love the pockets!
Thanksgiving is all about food and family. It's a big holiday. Everyone gets together and eats a lot of food. We watch Macy's parade. Christmas is a big deal also, pretty much the same as the UK. 🙂❤️
Love your papers
Lovely idea. Here we have a traditional Thanksgiving and on Christmas we BBQ, and exchange gifts. Just have fun. Most of my grandchildren are grown and I have 6 great grands. Not all live close so I don't see them often. We will video chat.. 🤗🙏❤❤
I also have a sausage dog for 5 years. They are the best
Thanks for the video!
I have seen you make these each mass make and I just had a thought, I may hinge on to put in a journal, so that I have a page pocket that looks lovely on both sides. Thanks for jogging my mind. Love your creativity. hugs from the US Roxanne
LOVELY-TFS-HUGS/BLESSINGS
Love your videos. In south africa we only celebrate christmas. We realy go all out. There are those that rather braai. Boring. We have just my kids and grands evening of 24th. Big meal. Lots fun. Then 25th anyone who would like to spend the day with us. Its summer so that day all left over meats from 24th and salads. Cold desserts.
Beautiful
Love these pockets; forgot how to make them. Thanks for the refresh, Tina.
Pockets are great. Love the room they have.
So love these! Completely forgot about them. Thanks for sharing!
❤
cute lil pockets!
I hope you’re doing okay after the storm- pictures just awful. I hope this isn’t the time you regret it.
❤❤❤
Beautiful and love the papers!❤️
We also have ordered turkey dinner from a local grocery store which it was ok but not as good as home cooked foods.
Indian food doesn’t sound very Christmassy to me, but I’m a pretty traditional person. 😊
Whatever you decide, I hope it’s a wonderful Holiday!!
Have a fab day also xx
good morning dear Tina.......................they are cute............. Blessings and Greetings from Daggy,Kiel,Germany☘☘☘xx
Thank you so much Daggy, have a great day xx
These are so quick and easy! I just made four! Hugs sweetie, MK ❤🤗♥️
That first part was typed 10 minutes in and oh my GOSH girl, you're DATING??!?? How wonderful, how brave, how scary! I was totally surprised when someone turned my head last week! Let's see if anything comes of that! 😬😬
Holidays used to be very hard for me, so for years I went to Hawaii all by myself for Christmas.
Oh!
Thank you so much, have fun with your pockets xx
Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
I would love to see a pink vintage Christmas theme digitals.
I love that idea xx
Hi Tina, have you thought about having dinner catered or ordering it from a grocery store?
Thanksgiving's never been the big thing. Christmas has always been the biggest thing for Christmas for America. This year on Thanksgiving, I'm just gonna stay home and cook. That's what America has on Thanksgiving. They just stay home and cook well. Most of them.
❤️🇨🇦🍂🍁
Tina, echoing the others but Thanksgiving isn't generally much more than a gathering to eat. Can be family but often is friends. I can honestly skip it and often do.
Oh wow, I didn’t realise that it wasn’t such a big deal, thank you for clarifying I honestly thought it was a really big celebration xx
Haha, yes isn’t that the way when men cook? Why can’t they tidy as they go? Sorry for your loss of your grandma and stepdad 🥰 xx
I noticed that some of the pockets you glued the tabs only while others you glued behind as well. This means some have a gusset while others are glued down. Was that intentional? It did make for different sized pockets which gave a nice choice. Thank you for sharing this technique
I want your scissors. I can’t find them anywhere. Where do I get them? Thank you. I love your stuff and conversation ❤
They’re from the three pack of scissors from Ikea xx
No, we only change gifts on Christmas. Usually Christmas Eve, but not Thanksgiving at all. Thanksgiving, we just stay home and cook the most people for America. I stayed home and cook, but now we change Christmas gifts either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, but not Thanksgiving. I don't know what anybody else does on. Thanksgiving, or if they even do anything for Thanksgiving in other states but I know for America, we only exchange gifts on Christmas.
What about a gothic christmas theme? Or a frozen theme?
Also Tina can I ask is this the 200gsm from Amazon linked below that you are using here? 😊 x
Christmas bows and parcels?
Thank you so much for the suggestion xx
