Tina, your mojo is in a grieving process. Divorce is actually a loss in ones life. Dont be so hard on yourself. You do what u can each day...before u know it you will be doing marathons again. Your work and creativity is phenomenal. Chin up buttercup❤😊
I'm from Australia and I still have the commemorative wedding poster from our weekly TV WEEK program guide. We definitely tuned in here, back in the day ❤
In the US we had All My Children, Erica Caine my favorite soap opera character. When I was growing up we had 4 channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS) to watch. I remember when they added two more. We were all extremely excited! Merry Christmas 🎄
I’m late, as usual, Tina, but I think this is going to be a great series! You’re so funny, your comments about TV cracked me up! We have a very romantic channel called the Hallmark Channel (Hallmark is probably the largest maker of greeting cards in the U.S.) & their channel is a very syrupy & silly sugar-coated, never-would-happen kind of romance & at Christmas they have 25 days of Christmas romances for us to view!! You can be lost in fantasy for a long, long time! I really enjoyed watching today & my favorite is the one with the man & the 2 frames, not so much because it has a man, but because I thought it was so clever to use 2 frames! I would never have thought about cutting off the green frame so sensibly from its original setting! Very fun! I’m looking forward to the rest of the series, I was fussy cutting flowers while watching today! Thank you! Erica❤
Merry Christmas. A hard day here in Australia. Flash flooding. 7 inches of water in the garage but the house is dry. Managed cold lunch with friends. Should be cleaning the shed but it's not going anywhere. Much prefer to be watching you and getting some craftying inspiration
Lol the chaos is over, time for calm with my RUclips ladies! Lol yes, always more pockets to fill🙈. They always had The Great Escape when I was younger and loads of entertainment shows. I don't watch t.v.at all now. Lol Den and Angie🙈 blast from the past! Too much choice now for those numbers I think. Oh Charlene and Scott song, Especially for you 🙊. I miss Only Fools (the made an awful American version). Lol the chandelier😄. Oh the bar fall is classic. Not all countries do Christmas specials, my American stuff all take breaks over Christmas. Time is definitely speeding up! You've had a lot on this year, same here. It effects everything. Yes I find I over embellish and it gets so bulky🙈. I've tried filling as I go but it takes longer, or feels like it anyway. That was just like a Tuesday's mass make😁. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
I agree, season one of 24 was amazing! In the 1980’s I think everyone in America watched Dallas and wanted to know “who shot JR!” Wonderful video! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Hi Tina, the song was called Neighbours by Barry Crocker 🎶 Neighbours everybody needs good neighbours with a little understanding you can find the perfect blend 🎶 I was also a child when we lived in the UK and was the show hehe cute throw back I hadn't though of that show in 25 years lol Christmas was lovely I'm glad yours was too ❤ Jenn
I'm in the US, no I've never seen Neighbors, never heard of it. but I do know what you mean. here in the 80's it would have been the wedding of Luke and Laura on General Hospital That was the same year as Charles and Diana's wedding. talk around the water cooler would have been who shot JR on Dallas. I remember Dallas and Dynasty were you had to be home those nights to see what was happening. I love you making journal cards out of these papers. I have a stack of craft books I was going to toss but now maybe I need to keep them.
The hardest thing for me is finding enough 'stuff' to make these. Labels, fussy cuts. I do love making and have created so many journals. BUT keeping up with supplies is my struggle. I have 100s of books to cut up but it's just sitting and cutting cutting cutting. Thanks for sharing this idea. I love it. I might mass make this week. :)
Love eastenders was a big story line again this Christmas … watched Charlene and Scott get married in Neighbour s on my lunch break from secondary school high school … loved 24 watched it back to back because watched it when it had finished on tv so could watch as much as I could when I had some spare time ..it didn’t feel Christmassy to me either
very cute and easy project, dear Tina.........................my xmas was quiet................relaxed and easy to do..................alone in my rooms...outside there is stormy weather...........Blessingsn and Greetings from Daggy,Kiel,Germany☘☘☘
THe song was Especially for You lol, we must be similar ages because I was listening to you thinking oh I remember this lol. Also memories of my mum (now passed away) at Xmas, we used to love xmas night watching all the soaps. Happy times xx
This is one of the best videos ever Tina. Thanks so much for doing this. Just rattling off the shows on TV and movies we always watch.....one of my faves is Love Actually, was very enjoyable for me, but I'm looking up Only Fools and Horses so I will be binging on that now. I will have to watch the whole series because that's what I do. British shows are very imaginative, I enjoy that. Love British shows. I was thinking about how you said you didn't feel so festive this year. Well... you have had a pretty rough year personally..(the D and your BFF passing) Our town couldn't have lit decorations turned on at all because of the really bad thunderstorms, power outages and torrential rains. This has truly been a lovely visit with you, even with all the interruptions I've had with phone calls and noisy neighbours. My favourite is the bird with butterfly.
I lived in England for three years (American military husband) and my oldest daughter was born there. I watched Eastenders and Neighbours religiously! This was the late 1980’s. I also watched Bread, The Goode Life…so many good shows!
You are not alone in finding it hard to get Christmassy this year. I did not get my tree up until the 23rd this year, and that's also when I finished shopping for my kids. I just could not get excited - this whole year has been very hard. I have really been missing my parents who have been gone for many years now, and I just have not had the Christmas spirit. But. I had a very nice Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with three of my children and was able to video chat with my son and his partner who live half a world away. So, keep doing what you are doing, and Christmas will come (it already has) and you will find your mojo again. Thank you for your videos - I hope you had a truly lovely Christmas - you deserve all the happiness in the world 🥰🌲🌞 (As far as watching tv shows - I remember when we all tuned in to see the last episode of M*A*S*H - such a wonderful show! )
Neighbours = It has started again when it picked up new funding - yes the wedding stopped the nation lol Suddenly The song was famously used in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, during the wedding of the characters Scott Robinson (Jason Donovan) and Charlene Mitchell (Kylie Minogue). "Suddenly" was released via Mushroom Records in July 1987 to coincide with the broadcast of the wedding episode.
My favourite is the man, he looks just like my nephew 😂 Also, my husband loves Only Fools and Horses too. He has all the DVD's and we've seen them sooo many times 😂
Anxiety can make life harder. And interfere with your ability to think clearly. The one thing that helped me was a counselor that gave me “tools “ to apply when i recognize it and things to do to avoid it. It takes time to heal once you have it. But it is possible to be normal again.
I’m with you Tina. I lost my husband in June and Christmas was very different. I spent the day alone, but watching videos and doing a bit of crafting. I don’t sleep well and have anxiety to deal with. I know what you are saying.
Great idea for a series, Tina!! I sure hope you and your children and extended family had a nice Christmas. Like you, I wasn't feeling very festive this year, either. I lost 4 family friends the first 2 weeks of December, and one was only 65 and a very close friend for 37 years. I've been sooooo, sad! Here's hoping 2024 is a better year for you and me. Still sending up prayers about your situation and I pray things will turn out well for you. ((Hugs!))
Hi Mary ~ I'm very sorry to hear about your losses!!! I can't imagine how difficult it would be to lose a daughter!! Prayers and ((hugs)) to you, too! It truly is a process isn't it? And, the pain softens a bit with time, but is always there. My mother passed 6 1/2 years ago, and I still miss her.
Love them! The hot air balloon with the shoe and the rose is my favourite. Tfs Tina. Hope you are having a restful and rejuvenating after Christmas time. 💞🤗
24 was sooooooo good wasn’t it? I’ve never heard of longmire, I’ll have to look that up. I have heard of Yellowstone, but not seen it, thank you for sharing, I always appreciate finding other things to watch xx
I finished 2 cards and I have 5 to decorate. I am going to finish them tonight so I will be ready for tomorrows project. Much love to you and your family ❤❤❤
Loving this series. ❤ I can't wait to get home and start mass making these journal cards. I think my favorite one is the card with the bird. At least as of this moment. TFS, Tina♥️
Love this Tina, I always struggle when a journal is finished, to fill the pockets. It sometimes feels never ending and adds so much extra time to the process before completing the project. Thanks for sharing m take care xx
I used to watch 24 when it first started and loved it!! Didn't make it through all 8 seasons, but I would like to find it again since you've mentioned it. I agree that the first season was rivoting! Loved to hear you chat about it while crafting!❤😊
I'm just watching this playlist. Sorry, have not be junk journal making very long. Trying to catch up on all these wonderful channels. I don't think we have the soaps here in the US that you mentioned. I remember one cliffhanger as a kid on a nighttime tv show called Dallas. The episode was, Who Shot JR?. But i think we had to wait till the next season to find out who shot JR. 😂 Oh my goodness!! I just googled that scene and it is hilarious!! 😂😂😂😅😅 I've seen these two actors in later TV shows. The tall one played on The Vicar of Dibley as the grouchy old bachelor. He's a riot. I think Christmas is an anxious time for a lot of people.
Thank you so much for your lovely video'a and idea's, I love this mass make idea, The Man is my favorate ...Kia Kaha Stay Strong....I hope you have a lovely Christmas and a happy and safe new year
Had a lovely afternoon with family for Xmas. Then decided to kick back and relax and watch some favourite old Christmas movies and now Tina's show. great day all in all. A very Merry Christmas to Shabbydabbydoodah and all of the group. Hope everyone had a lovely day!
My goal for 2024 is to make my first JJ so really looking forward to this series to help me with ideas for filling it. Thank you sooo much Tina. Love your videos xxx

Neighbours did finish up but has started up again.. I loved only fools and horses …. lots of English shows are just the best ..I’m in Australia..we do have some pretty good shows too but too many reality shows now
Tina did you make these journal cards with a certain project or two in mind?? Or maybe you make the cards and then make a journal to put them in?? How do you know what to put on your cards? These beautiful cards are almost done with little room to decorate it to go into a journal but may not fit into all journals.
Hi Tina. Yeah I loved the first season of 24... and watched the next couple I think. But when Keifer had to kill someone that he worked with just because a terrorist demanded it or he was going to bomb a city or something. I couldn't watch anymore. TFS! 💕

Great begining 😊
One of my recent Christmas traditions is watching the Call The Midwife Christmas episode.
I really like the bird and the man the best. I like the size of them.

In the United States we can get Brit Box to watch shows on and we can get East Enders and other British shows.
Would you please show a sample at the beginning of the video? I have more confidence following along if I have an idea where we are headed.
