Yes to the conservatory plant tour video! I like this “where are they now” concept 😊 It’s comforting to see that someone so good at plant care can lose plants too. But also to see that falling out of love with plants is something normal and we shouldn’t feel guilty about it and keep plants just because we’ve had them for so long. Loved the video 🫶

Love your videos so much! I think the way you incorporate plants into your house is beautiful. I made some of the macrame plant pots you did some videos on a while ago and everyone loves them!

Thank you Claire for all your videos! 🤗🩷💐 I really love the way you approach plant care, it feels a lot like self-care/growth to me, and I love that! Thank you for putting so much thoughtfulness to your videos. I truly enjoy the longer videos+ chat💚. I always find a lot value in your videos, a lot more than just plant care! I feel quite fortunate for having found you! 🥰🌷🪴🌸🩷 Please, keep making more plant/chat content and keep up the great work! 🤗💐🌷🪴🌸

Claire, so great!!! 🥰 Thank you!
Don’t feel too cringey. We adore you because you are a ‘real’ person on this crazy RUclips world. I hadn’t seen the old version. Think I found you right at the Conservatory tour. You are genuine, thanks for teaching, learning, & growing with us. 💋
P.S. Tell Ross that Ross is doing well, acclimating to being here at house. But he still says, “Stay sexy, Plant lover.” 😊😘

Aaah, the nostalgia and looking back is super fun, a super fun video Claire!
Funny to hear about your mom, because mine is the same, is okay with indoors plants and a wizard with outdoors ones. Ive saved many of her indoors (her poor snakeplants roots keep drying and then rotting when watered!!)

The bubbles in your sansevieria is the algae 'pearling' photosynthesising, it happens in aquariums with pearl weed, releasing oxygen bubbles

"This is my rhaphidophora tetrasperma and it's huge" had me chuckling even before "now" you responded 😂
Your confidence and experience have grown so much since these early videos, and it shows. You're much more natural in the way you present now. I really enjoyed this video, and looked forward all day to finding the time to sit down and watch it. (With the same earphones - my ADHD loves these ones cos they don't need charging, and the cord means when they keep falling out of my ears I dont lose them 🙃)

I absolutely agree on the adansonii being prone to pests! Mine get thrips constantly and it just looses all their leaves. My esqueletto on the other hand couldn't be easier and they look fairly similar. Doesn't mind some thrips and is sizing up on a bamboo cane no problem (plus the aerial roots are amazing). My goal now is to get the adansoniis healthy enough so that I can give them to a friend who likes them.
Would love to see the conservatory tour and where the plants have ended up!

I have read from a major Alocasia breeder that it is better to let the Alocasia cycle through her inflorescences as from the moment you are able to chop it, the plant has already spent the energy on it. Allowing it to go through its flowering phase will allow it to recycle that energy. NGL though, I can't wait for my black velvet to stop with the inflos. She's on her 5th! My Frydek had 2 and then was back to pushing nice big leaves.

Joli so adorable 🥰 as always. Is nice looking back at your old collection of plants. I miss some of my favourites that just no longer doing well. Also is good practice too what plants thrive in your home environment too when your new to plants. I miss your old home with your Mum you had so many enormous plants back then. Where you had your film spot surrounded by plants. One of the reasons i have stopped using Facebook Marketplace in selling items. Majority of the people just want to try to get you selling it cheaper. Even though you have already advertised at a good low price since at times you cannot sell items what you bought at. My bathroom has no windows which i hate so i do have some fake plants there and it looks nice. So fake plants do look so real aswell. Also my kitchen on top of my cabinets i have nice trailing plants aswell which looks amazing which you can get in Ikea.

@1:15 - I heard so many experienced plant growers struggeling with the A. Veitchii and I'm sure it must be a genetic thing. With a small collection of about 100 plants I'm an average plant parent and the latest leaf of my Veitchii got 88 cm long in ambient conditions in my living room. It has never shed a leaf on it's own in 3 years time (I cut them because the plant got too big) and has flowered multiple times.
So Claire, if you're reading this: I'm sure it's not your fault 😌 Love your 🪴🌱🐕‍🦺 content 💚

I think maybe the curled leaf of the snake plant in the jar is making a bizarre echo from the sounds of your glow lights? I would assume it’s an auditory illusion! Curved structures and glass, and water, could do some interesting things with sound wave… just a theory!
