I had to deal with this belt test poomsae, 8 Jang......as I tried to get my dark blue belt. The forward down block + high backfist back block together , used twice in this sequence, is sometimes called "weshantil makki" by some taekwondo schools, and "mountain block" by other schools.
Why is the backfist a singled hand move at the end? All blocks and strikes in TKD are taught two handed. I’m confused. Is the fundamentals wrong? Or is this just a new thing?
