Zero waste almond!

- With a single cup of almonds, you could make your own plant based milk and use the pulp to make delicious energy balls. It’s cheap and energy efficient as you won’t have to cook anything but just use your blender!
ALMOND MILK 🥛🌱
1 x cup almonds (soaked vernight)
2 x cups water
Dates or maple syrup for a sweet flavour
Blend all ingredients and strain with a muslin into a bowl .
Store it for up to 4-5 days in the fridge
ALMOND PULP ENERGY BALLS 🍡🍫🥥
1 x cup almond pulp
3 x tbsp peanut butter
1/3 x cup maple syrup
2 x tbsp coconut flour
1 x chocolate bar
Pinch of salt
Optional:cocoa powder, shredded coconut
Add all ingredients in the blender and mix.
Roll them into a ball .
Roll them in cocoa powder or shredded coconut for a nice coating touch 🥥🍫
Store them in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze them .

nut pulp is great for adding to granola, i use leftover walnut meal in both that and sometimes a "cheese" dust

Less work, less flavor, less filling. But you have a point I'd rather just nibble on some almonds and drink some water
I use up every part of a pomelo, eat the meat, use the white thick part for candy and dehydrated the skin for pomelo salt

please never eat nut husk. it's loaded with antinutrients and carcinogen like phytic acid, oxalates etc. it reduces nutrients absorption upto 8 times! Best way is to soak them overnight blanch and peel.
This is one of the reasons i subscribe its relaxing seeing this and also interesting finding a way to use our veggie and nuts 🌰 without wasting it

Love the fact that almond milk doesn't spoil as quickly as regular milk and that it doesn't make my stomach upset. I've become fully lactose intolerant ever since I hit my 30s. Good video mate keep the content flowing!!
Try raw milk. Nut milk is very bad for you. Raw milk contains lactase in it, which breaks down lactose. Normal milk doesnt have it because they heat the milk up, removing the benefits of it.

I love this. I like almond milk, although im not vegan or even vegetarian.ive always used the ground almonds in baking, anywhere ground almonds or almond flour is called for. But energy balls sounds like a really good alternative. Id keepthem in the fridge, especially on summer, when i dont feel like eating. Imagine a cool truffle, bursting with almond and chocolate flavour, on a really hot day,when themercury is nearing 40!

After my first kidney stone, almonds are my worst enemy lol
Actually it is dehydration that causes stones.. Not the foods... I had almost 5-6 stones every few months for years... But only recently I understood that dehydration is a very subtle enemy... Sometimes we don't even realize we are dehydrated... I have not had any stone for last three years after I properly kept myself hydrated drinking water as per my body's requirements.. Even if I did not feel dehydrated I ensure I meet the requirement... Our mind is silly it quickly jumps to conclusions
