Bought and installed Gulikit Hall Effect on my OLED. It only have 1 button to calibrate. Nice experience deadzone set all the way to the left. Feel the stick lighter to move than original that i have use for half a year. A good upgrade.
Great walkthrough video! I see your point of the Phillips versus the Torx. But as someone who has stripped a screwhead that just came apart in the Steam Deck, I am a fan of Torx as it strips on me way less.
i bought the Gulikit ones and found that the cable seemed to get stuck on the joystick housing constantly.... bought these ones the tighter FPS versions and couldnt be happier (b ' ' )b
K1: Calibrate the Joystick Edge Range K2: Calibrate the Joystick Center *Both center and edge range calibration may affect each other, alternating between them multiple times ensures optimal results
think they went with the Torx screws because they are not as easily stripped if you have the right driver. At least that's been my experience with Torx vs Philips
Definitely less prone I think but even still, just an added pain in the butt if you don’t have any. Although I’m sure a lot of people in this market segment would have torx on hand
Torque screw is better than Phillip's for longevity of the screw. It's better if the user aways opens his steamdeck, it is less prone from stripping.

Well now you have me thinking… great video! Congrats on getting these as well!

Excuse me Mr. Dock Tech, maybe some of us enjoy the drifting! ... wait you're still talking about street racing right?
DK, what’s that stand for?
@@WinDeckTech definitely Donkey Kong, the real Drift King.
Heard Hall effects have a delay, is it noticeable?
@@MyKey2449 I haven’t noticed any. There theoretically should not be due to them using magnets
