Olivia & Alanis have a new but meaningful connection. Before her her 1st tour, they interviewed each other and you could see the kinship and mutual admiration. On Olivia''s 1st tour, Alanis sang YON with her at a show and now this. Alanis made Olivia possible as well as Taylor, Avril & Kelly; all who idolize Alanis.

Should've been one of the plethora of Canadian artists (Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne, Lights, Carly Rae Jepsen) who were actually the girls alive when "Jagged Little Pill" came out (not, with all due respect, someone who first listened to that record in 2016).

      100% completely the wrong person.

I disagree. It doesn’t matter where the person is from, it matters what talent they have and how deeply they can understand the record. You can really hear Alanis’s influence in Olivia’s lyrics, which are brilliant, btw. I read Alanis herself asked her to do this, she must really see herself in Rodrigo. Plus, love the girls you mentioned, but in my personal opinion, none of them can compare to Olivia’s songwriting skills.

If I was Alanis and had all those madddd artistic achievments spanning 3 decades, I would be hella disappointed to be inducted by this noob child.

@@maxrush-hl8ibprobably not bigger but she is more likable, especially Taylor as of late 👀. I don’t hate Taylor but seeing her so much lately, I’m getting overexposed to her. That’s not her fault though that’s just the media but still, girl decided to drop another album in 2024 like damn take a break please 😭
