If it's Seiko branded its price should around 22-25k. Very nice watch with all the features available.. Seiko snkp17k1 price around 14 k double the price using old type movement..no hacking is there, also metal strap quality not that good.. Where as our indian brand pricing the watch around 8.2K..mind blowing... very nice video and very elaborately described... thanks a ton..
I also bought the HMT Steller black blue version. It will be great if you make a proper video on manual winding on an automatic watch. There is no proper video to HMT watch. Please look forward to it
So nicely articulated, impulsive buying decision based on hype is not good. If the watch doesn't match with your personality, then you will not wear it and money will get wasted.
They should have made the stellar series in 40mm dial size. That's a sweet spot and can cater to both large and small wrist size. Right now, even though I love this one, I won't be getting it as it is just too big for my wrist size.

Just because it's independence day, it seems you have praised the Indian Brand a Lil too much imo While I agree with a few points on finishing and straps.. but I disagree that this is value for money at 9k. Since you give TRANSPARENT reviews, I was expecting to see the cons of the watches as well.. because no watches are perfect.. At this price the two key features missing are 1) water resistance..it's very less as compared to the market standard of watches with the same design language. 2) Though design looks good, at this price the bezel could have been rotating... but its not. I had posted on your last video that it can be misleading for people. You give a diver design bezel and it doesn't rotate is a flaw in the design language.. Again I am not saying the watch is all BAD and should not be purchased but the problems should be highlighted as well..Stellar has many other beautiful design... For large wrists there is also DASL 10, Which looks highly inspired from Panerai..

Regarding WR, Timex automatic watches at this range xomes with 50M. Seiko 12k range comes with 30M. HMT is giving 59M at 8.2 K, I think its reasonable.

If your watch has a diver design bezel it should rotate Even on the WR... Seiko 12k watch is not value for money and also it's a dress watch..not a diver.... the comparison is not with other brands. My problem is giving it a design of a diver and not having sufficient WR. Had this been a fashion brand, it would be expected.. but this is a watch brand. Hence I doubt on the value
The purpose of rotating bezel is to time things especially dive timings. This one is not a dive watch clearly Speedtimer has a tachymeter bezel hence it should be fixed one. HMT is definitely improving which is a good sign. I am concerned about the criminally short hands. 😢 Looks tiny.

I like their other models of st llars.. but this one wouldn't be my preference as it's done incorrectly Even a 4k rs benyar has a rotating bezel with 100m WR.. that too a chinese brand.. HmT would build a way better model at 8-9k price as they do have the capability
