Having been an Evernote user for almost 8 years, I felt I needed a change as my workload began to increase more and more. It wasn't in line with the way I think. I toyed with Milanote for a time and thought it was better, however, it was still missing something. That's when I turned to Notion. What a game-changer. Everything I need to ensure a proper workflow is here. I am still new to it and haven't explored everything that Notion can do which is why this video is so timely. Thanks, Matthew.

Been a fan of Matt since I started my design study, and his videos here and on the futur channel are the best content any young designer willing to learn more could have. And this video just dropped in the right time, as I started to notice that my productivity went down during lockdown, and this will definetly help me bounce back! Thanks Matt 😊
As being a programmer I just open my text editor create k todo.md file and start writing my tasks and other works in them but still watches these videos hoping maybe one day I'll use these kind of apps😅
If that works best for you, keep doing it! Don't feel pressured to change systems unless the features of a new one would be really helpful to you. Just my 2 cents, I've used a TON of productivity apps but I moved back to mostly using apple notes app. Do what works for you

I use a mobile and web-based app called Wallet and it's pretty good. I didn't find any good template in Notion which showcase pie and bar chart to visualize it better, do you have any suggestion on the template?
I don’t. My finances aren’t this organized, but they aren’t that complex either. I don’t have anything great in place except for the occasional google sheet

I love the video! My life and business are literally run in Notion, I would be so lost without it. What's super great about it is that it replaces all the project management and productivity tools out there. The learning curve can be a bit steep, but it's well worth it! As you said in the video, you get fully accustomed to it after a couple of days.
Hey Matthew - I appreciate you sharing the template but I'm a bit lost. When I import it into Notion, I see all of your projects. But when I click on one (say Project 6) - it's empty. Do any of these projects have a template with the actual fields/etc in them? Or are they all just blank pages? Thanks!

Also, what's the difference between the 'Video Structure' and 'Outline'?

Ok so your wife collaborated with you on the Notion idea. Cool. Because when I tried convincing my wife to use Trello for her WFH setup she told me to just call a carpenter.
This was great. That last video was solid also, but a standing desk is a bit over my budget. I bet a bunch of people are taking advantage of the great info tho. This is very applicable, practical and immediately helpful advice too. I did like bits of notion, but after watching this I feel like its definitely a good idea to spend more time with the app. Thanks for sharing.

You're a LIFESAVER!!! I literally just watched this video 2 times back to back to copy your Notion RUclips template. I've been so unorganized with my video planning process and this shot list has literally just saved my channel 😰 Like you mentioned in the video, I literally write out different notes for my videos in a bunch of different places and always feel lost when it comes to editing because I never have enough b-rolls. Writing down an outline and then moving this into a shot list is such a game changer. I cannot believe it took me THREE YEARS to get my shi* together lol Thank you, thank you, thank you! Hi, I became aware of Notion through you, I've been using it for a semester and I have to say it has helped me a lot to get structure in my daily routine. I was considering that, then I felt the video would be boring to most. It’s a balance I have to maintain. But that’s why I shared other in depth videos to fill in. If there’s more interest here, I can probably find other ways to go more in depth. What else would you like to know?

Notion's awesome! When I first used it I tried to copy everyone's else layout etc but stopped using cause I didn't like it. Recently I go back to it, months ago, and began making my layouts and made it functional for me. Ever since then I've been loving it and wanting to keep checking it and began to be a lot more productive and ease my mind. It helped me a lot as I have ADHD so it kept me focus and convenient.

That is done in post. To get proper parallax you’d need a motorized slider.

To be honest I haven't done much with relational databases cause of my lack of knowledge. Is there a good resource to learn from, for my context here?

I jumped into Notion after you mentioned it in an old Futur video. I liked it, but there’s so many features that it felt daunting. I would love to see an in depth view of how you set up or organize some of these features.

I just split muscle groups. Push, pull, legs. Then occasionally break it up with HIIT every 4th week.
