If you have one hot fire in the barrel after you open it all that paint will disappear, just saying way easier and cheaper than stripping the entire thing

My dad told me stories of how the would repurpose agent orange barrels in Vietnam. Showers, mix drinks etc. I suggest you know what was in the barrel beforehand. He's been gone now for almost 7 years due to complications from agent orange.

I feel like there should be a warning at the beginning about not using a barrel that was used to store a flammable liquid. The fumes/vapors last a lot longer than you would think. Cutoff wheel + flammable gas = explosion. Some people aren't all that bright...

Stevens obviously you don’t know anything about Texas, there’s several stores that sell barrel pits made by local welders, and there’s a lot of welding shops that make those made from scrap metal and sells them for $50

@@luich2275 I live in Texas, the barrel pits you get at the big box stores like Lowes, home depot, academy, and Walmart are all made overseas and come in a box that you have to assemble yourself. Yes there are places that sell barrel pits from local craftsman but those are usually in small rural areas that doesn't have a big box store.
