This is the kind of doctor that poor/low-income Americans often lack. Kind and gentle man, superb bedside manners! A blue-collar soldier in the medical trenches.
@@UniqueCommentary247 Alright? unlike the United States, Japan does not have much inequality. The term “middle class” does not exist or is not used in Japan. Only in the U.S. do we use it. By the way, medical care in Japan is very inexpensive. It is readily available to everyone. Let's check it out.
Wow! What a kind and dedicated doctor, loving his family, dedicated to his patients, and leading the new generation of doctors. Thank you for this valuable documentation of a day in the life. The daughters are so lively and cute...their shiny black hair is beautiful. God bless.
I am in love with the Japanese people, I love the way they look after their elderly people and all people who need medical help. They seem so gentle and humble and respect everyone, this is so lacking in most of the west now. Thank you for bringing this info to those of us who will never be able to visit Japan.
I always wanted to know how Japanese doctors spend their typical day. As a physician, I am very curious to learn about it. I would love to start home visit to my patients and know how they live and to make personal connections. Thank you so much for making a video. I enjoyed it a lot.
this is an amazing DITL video. Heartwarming all throughout. The doctor is always kind and you as a host is always respectful! And their children is too adorable! Great video!
I know you haven’t posted anything in 7 months so you might not see this but your videos are really good and if you keep at it I guarantee you’re gonna blow up soon. I was watching a couple of your vids when I realized that you only had 5k subs: I was baffled!! The editing, content and overall quality your vids is amazing. Keep it up
Lmao i was thinking that too while watching maybe its cause shes younger that's why shes so lively, i laughed a little when they were eating at the restaurant and she dropped the pepper i think on the griller.
Maybe its because its a small hospital but I am surprised at how much hands on work Dr. Shingo does, like administering the chemo and the transfusion or doing the ultrasound himself. At my hospital only the nurses would handle anything to do with the IVs and an ultrasound tech would have done the scan to send to the doctor. I hardly see the doctors at all. It seems like medicine in Japan takes a much more personalized touch than the US to me, but my hospital is also 7x the size of Kaifu and also in a major metropolitan area.
As a medical student I learned a lot from this video alone! Thank you for making the effort to share! And it is rare to find a video like this that includes the patients' footage! (along with their consent ofcourse😁) Also the doctor is very nice and inspiring! I can see the patients are happy having him as their doc☺️
This content is really good. I could for sure see you getting a lot bigger if you stick with it. This style is actually quite desirable now. Good luck man.
As a nearly finished family nurse practitioner who works as an RN ina large hospital.. this doc is asked to do a lot of peoples jobs. Hanging blood is not something a US doc ever does. They would never give chemo. Or even see a chemo patient as a general doc. However 8 is a low amount of patients for a day. Good man
Really interesting video footage! Can not help but thinking of the movie "Lost in translation" when Bill Murray is taking Scarlet Johasson to her Dr, s appointment.

Great video! I was curious to see what the medical staff do, at a Japanese hospital. That's interesting to see the dr giving blood transfusion & starting Chem meds. I'm a RN from California, we do that. Maybe it's not in the scope of practice for the nurses there.
In Japan, nurses carry out complete nursing care, so they do everything from bed baths to changing diapers. Administering iv meds, blood transfusion etc are also part of the scope of practice here but the big difference is that nurses needs a doctors order to add or adjust medications at all times. Nurses also encourage self-management of medications to perfectly capable patients.
Japanese people are the always the kindest and well disciplined. I am going to nursing school soon and i can say all the doctors and nurses there are doing a great job!
Where do you live bro? I actually want to becomr a doctor in japan as well but the things is I think Japanese people prefer more japanese doctors than foreigners. Some say even if you are fluent in speaking japanese, still it is difficult to be hired there because this type of job they are hiring priority on their own people only. 100 foreigner Doctors are hired in japan every year and with that low chance rate I think it's difficult. But nothing is impossible
Hek he does bedside ultrasound and starts blood transfusion? whats next, he actually puts his own orders in the computer?? what doctor is this, someone from greys anatomy?? im shook i wish a lot of doctors are more hands on like him, but i guess when the hospital gives our doctors too much patients, the cant really be hands on with the patients.
