Great question, the last I checked, you still need to play the midi and bounce to audio to "export" a sample. You could probably download a sample and then dig through some folders on your computer to find it, but I think just playing it out as MIDI and then bouncing to audio is the easier way to go.

So glad you're loving Arcade. As far as I know, there's not a simple way to get separate outputs for each key. That's actually something I wish I could do sometimes especially with Kits that include drums, bass, melodies, etc. It'd be really nice to separately export as MIDI or audio those tracks. My work around isn't too convenient. It's pretty much muting other samples, so the sample I want to bounce is sort of "soloed". It's a long way to do it, but it works

Nice, that's great that you're a beginner! Let's see, for remixes, Arcade can be a good tool. If you're interested I would try dropping in vocal phrases or the hook of a song into Arcade and make it a custom kit. Then with that custom kit you are can start play around and hopefully find something cool. I can see Arcade also being good for finding drum beats and breaks for the remix too. What's great about Arcade now is that you can access their kits and notes (which are pretty much instrument presets). So Arcade can definitely be used well for a remix. Is there anything else you're wondering about as a beginner using Arcade?
@@christina9898979 yeah I think it can be good for that as well. The nice thing is that you'll be able to try out lots of different loops quickly. So it should speed up the sample searching process. Give it a shot!
Good question. If samples are running slow I would first try clicking the tweak button on the top. Then hit the sample that is running slow, and then look to the right of the menu under "speed'. Here you can set the sample to 4 different speeds. Hopefully that helps.
That's a good question. I'm not sure if you can drag a sample directly into Ableton. What you can do is load up Arcade with the samples you like and then write it out with MIDI and then bounce that clip. Then you would be able to use the sample as Audio. Hopefully this helps
That's a solid question. I had a lot of confusion too, when I first started using Arcade. Hopefully this helps. With Arcade you can use it as any other virtual instrument inside a DAW to record with. You can also use Arcade as a stand-alone app (to play around with). If you're hoping to build together a song inside of Arcade, that's unfortunately not what it's made for. The good news is that Arcade works in pretty much every DAW, even free ones like Garageband. Once you open up Arcade inside a DAW you can use it to record, and then use the DAW to arrange your song. Let me know if that all makes sense.
@@icarus6713 that's a big question and everyone has tons of opinions about that. This is my recommendation though. If you're still unsure how deep you want to go on music production, use something free like Garageband or Reaper. If you want to take the plunge, then consider Logic Pro or Ableton. To figure out which one of those to choose, I would watch some RUclips videos to see what the workflow is like, and which you're more interested in. In the end, all you can make music with all DAWs, it's most important to learn how to use them like the back of your hand.
why is it every video on here does the same what i need to now is basic how to down load the samples to your pc so i can work on them in my daw or direct from my arcade to daw

I have been paying for Arcade over two years and I’m about to cancel since I never use it. I don’t like the workflow comparing this to eg NI. I WISH I liked it because I like the sounds a lot
I experienced something really similar when Arcade was first released. I had arcade but never really used it, so I unsubscribed for a little over a year, and I didn't miss it. But then I got bored again, and decided to pick up Arcade again and found myself having a lot more fun with it. It's a long winded way of saying that I think you're doing the right thing. If a music tool is frustrating you, it's no problem to get rid of it to try something that is working better for you. There's a lot of cool stuff on sale now at Native Instruments, so it's the perfect time to check them out.
@@ThisIsOnesto yeah I love NI. I own Komplete and next to uJam it’s my favorite. I found a video on Arcade yesterday about a new feature where you can actually play full chords with the Arcade sounds….that MIGHT be something cool but I need to check it out first. So many tools……it’s a luxury. I always think about the hip hop pioneers and their creativity with such limited access to good equipment in the early 80s. Good thing that there have been some power black outs because that resulted in some proper distribution of equipment and with that the birth of legendary pioneers… So in other words: I don’t have any excuse not to dig deeper….. 😎
Been using arcade sporadically for 2 years. It can be exciting to use but the user interface is just bad. It's very conceptual but not particularly practical . The difficulty making their plug ins operable when moving between DAWS, computers and collabs has been really frustrating as well.

i downloaded it but i dont know to record any of the tracks i know nothing about it at all just downloaded it cause i wanted to get into it
It's great that you downloaded to just check it out, way to step out there. And thanks for asking that question, it's kind of a common one.
It sounds like right now you're using Arcade in Stand-Alone mode. If you're using it that way then you can play with Arcade and save your own presets, but there is no way to record. To do that, you'll need to use Arcade in a DAW (i.e. Garageband, Logic, Ableton). Once you do that you would record with Arcade as you would with any other MIDI instrument.
Does that make sense or am I misunderstanding you?
hey I have arcade and I still can't figure out how to save what I create and import it out or even save what I create I've been struggling with that so bad so I can start recording with the sounds I create
Thanks for asking that question, it's kind of a common one.

@@ThisIsOnesto YES THANK YOU SO MUCH YEAH I GOT A FREE TRIAL IN ARCADE BUT I DONT THINK ILL BE ABLE TO DO THAT LOL
you're saying this application doesn't allow me to easily download any of the music I make on it without somehow running it through another program?@@ThisIsOnesto
What DAW is this compatible with?
Good questions, it looks like Arcade is compatible with pretty much all DAWs: support.output.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043216033-Arcade-System-Requirements
My question / suggestion for next video is this. How do you make your own drum kits samples and use output as its own d a w. I want to make dark trap heavy Bass pop and snares crispy hi-hat chops type music. Can you make a tutorial on making your own drums with this in mind? Songs I want my beats to sound like.

since i'm a beginner is it good for doing remixes of songs
I do have yet another question, uum.. would it be good also for remixing an acapella with an instrumental
@@christina9898979 yeah I think it can be good for that as well. The nice thing is that you'll be able to try out lots of different loops quickly. So it should speed up the sample searching process. Give it a shot!
And if you need check out my other Arcade video about the best ways to use it. There should be some good tips in there for you to try out.
Any solution on the sample playin slow
Good question.
If samples are running slow I would first try clicking the tweak button on the top. Then hit the sample that is running slow, and then look to the right of the menu under "speed'. Here you can set the sample to 4 different speeds.
Hopefully that helps.
@@ThisIsOnesto thank you I found the solution the sync button was synced to a different tempo rather than project tempo and that's why it was slow
@@thedescendedchild6059 there you go! glad you figured that out. have fun with Arcade.
How to do you drag a sample into ablenton live ? 😅
That's a good question. I'm not sure if you can drag a sample directly into Ableton. What you can do is load up Arcade with the samples you like and then write it out with MIDI and then bounce that clip. Then you would be able to use the sample as Audio. Hopefully this helps
so you can't put anything together ? I'm super new and just downloaded it so its just to play around not to make music ?
@@ThisIsOnesto my man thank you so much any Recs on daws
@@ThisIsOnesto so I can’t drag anything from arcade to garage band ?
@@icarus6713 that's a big question and everyone has tons of opinions about that. This is my recommendation though. If you're still unsure how deep you want to go on music production, use something free like Garageband or Reaper. If you want to take the plunge, then consider Logic Pro or Ableton.
To figure out which one of those to choose, I would watch some RUclips videos to see what the workflow is like, and which you're more interested in. In the end, all you can make music with all DAWs, it's most important to learn how to use them like the back of your hand.
@@icarus6713 I don't think you can drag anything out of Arcade, only into Arcade.
When using Garageband, you will be recording with Arcade via MIDI.
why is it every video on here does the same what i need to now is basic how to down load the samples to your pc so i can work on them in my daw or direct from my arcade to daw
mmmm different version to mine?
Yeah, that's probably the case.
I think when I made this video it was an older version of it. The new one has a bunch of new stuff!
HOW DO I RECORD?!
Thanks for that question, it's kind of a common one.

Good thing that there have been some power black outs because that resulted in some proper distribution of equipment and with that the birth of legendary pioneers…
So in other words: I don’t have any excuse not to dig deeper….. 😎
Been using arcade sporadically for 2 years. It can be exciting to use but the user interface is just bad. It's very conceptual but not particularly practical . The difficulty making their plug ins operable when moving between DAWS, computers and collabs has been really frustrating as well.
Yes the GUI is a mess and I end up scrolling and scrolling forever. I will prob go nuts and stop my subscription after 2 month. A simple preset browser? Is it to much to ask for in 2022
WHO thumbs down Onestooo?!!!
No wonder music has become so canned and boring and formulaic.
This the worst pluggin for the worst musicians
who needs to pay to do a producing course when we got Onesto out here blessing us the skills for free lol
Hahaha, that's part of the reason why I started making plugin videos. I often found myself still confused after watching music production videos that I wanted to make the best videos I can for the music producer community!
